Lots of pockets, durable and stands up to washing. Lasts a long time
Just bought a new pair of these after several years of wear for my husband's older pair. These pants are GREAT. Lots of pockets with covers, able to carry lots of things that are needed during a day of work. Like the new color as well. Very durable, I could wish that we had bought more pairs when they were lower priced :) but we still bought them at the higher price, because they work. No shrinkage at all, stands up to a wash (we hang dry and they last longer), they're very comfortable, and stylish. Value for money is good; we wouldn't have bought again if not. Perform very well for outside work, so anything you think of these pants can stand up to it. YMMV, but I'm satisfied.

Ultimate Performance and Comfort: CQR Men's Tactical Pants Deliver!
I'm not the avid outdoorsman that I used to be, but I'm someone who values both style and functionality in their gear, I recently had the pleasure of trying out the CQR Men's Tactical Pants, and I must say, they exceeded all my expectations.First and foremost, the durability of these pants is outstanding. Whether I'm hiking through rugged terrain or just running errands around town, I feel confident knowing that these pants can handle whatever I throw at them. The ripstop fabric not only resists tears and abrasions but also holds up well against the elements, keeping me comfortable and protected in any weather conditions. Moreover, the design of these tactical pants is incredibly practical. With multiple pockets strategically placed throughout, I can easily organize and access all my essentials, from my phone and keys to my multi-tool and wallet. The reinforced knees and seat provide added durability in high-wear areas, while the adjustable waistband ensures a perfect fit every time.I also appreciate the versatility of these pants. Whether I'm hitting the trails, working in the yard, or just lounging around the house, they offer the perfect combination of comfort and performance. The breathable fabric keeps me cool and dry during physical activities, while the ergonomic design allows for unrestricted movement, making them ideal for any adventure.Overall, I can't recommend the CQR Men's Tactical Pants enough. Not only are they built to last, but they also offer unmatched comfort, functionality, and style. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, a tactical professional, or just someone looking for a reliable pair of pants for everyday wear, these pants are sure to impress.

Well built and surprisingly waterproof
Very comfortable & durable. Tons of well thought out pockets. Quite waterproof. If you sit on a wet bench, water will be pushed through. But, I hiked for 2-3 hours in the rain and only the waistband was wet. The insides of the pockets stayed dry. Impressive.I'm not used to pants with any elastic in the waistband so the fit is a little different than what I'm used to. I'm 32-34, depending on the brand. I wouldn't go smaller than 34 with these.Bought 2 pair for a recent trip. Both are great but do note that the different colors have different pocket configurations.

Wonderful!
These pants are top notch! 6 pockets, sturdy fabric, and measurements spot on. After trying a pair on, I immediately returned to Amazon to order another pair!

Good quality, correct size.
The fabric is thicker then some brands. Stitching looks good. The size I ordered fit me perfectly. I'm inbetween sizes, so I ordered the larger ones, glad I did. Fabric is not the most comfortable; kinda almost tent-like, but not bad, totally fine for working and moving around. Haven't had any tears, rips or damage after several months and I work at a place that's kind rough on close, kneeing on cement and brushing up against rough edges.

Not what they used to be
These pants are not the same quality they were a year ago. I used to love CQR for their near perfect blend of durability, practicality, and good looks, but that is apparently not the case anymore. To start off, the pockets are half as deep as they used to be. I'm not a huge fan of the mesh material they used for the new pockets either. I can no longer fit my usual load out in the hip pockets. The overall construction of the pants appears ok on the surface, but comparing them to my old pairs, the rip stop fabric feels thinner. I wore these new pants twice, once just casually and once to the range to do some training. Less than an hour into my training session and I already wore a small hole into the pants. I have done the same training regimen with older CQR pants that held up just fine over multiple sessions. The inside material around the belt area of the pants is softer than it used to be. Makes it feel a bit more comfy, but I don't think it's as durable as the old material.Overall I guess they aren't bad if they're going to be worn casually. They're a good fit, true to size, and fairly comfortable/flexible. As for tactical applications or rugged but lightweight work pants, look elsewhere. I'm disappointed in what the quality has become and will be returning all new pairs I just bought.
