When ordering this it was a "let's just see how this style (and color) looks" situation. I didn't have certain expectations but was just excited to try it and I'm glad I did.The color at the bottom half of this costume wig is more of a yellowy blond than a platinum blond. There really is wave to it but it's not all sexy it's more costume. That said it is a good quality costume wig. The top "part" and the part where the bangs go in looks better than a lot of costume wigs. There is a seam of stitches along the line, though. If looking closely you can see that. A hat or headband could conceal that but for a costume maybe that just doesn't matter anyway. The bangs look fabulous and the best looking part of the wig is the top where the ash blends into the pale yellow blond at the top and the bangs. To look mad sexy in this wig (as it is) you might need to be mad sexy before you put it on. However, if what you are looking for is some believable bangs to have under headwear this may be perfect for you! OR if you are one of these people who loves to makeover wigs into one-of-a-kind fashion statements, this one would be a super foundation to start with!The look of the hair is more matte, not like some super plastic looking shiny costume wigs. The texture when holding some of the hair in the hand is similar to somewhat over processed hair. If you run your hand over it, it feels fine, just not silky. For a costume this wig is ready out of the package waves and all, just brush the bangs how you want them and you're golden!As it is out of box it would look better on a petite face than a fuller larger face. If you want something to punk rock out, to cut and color fun colors (not with real hair dye), it could be the perfect wig for that and that is what I plan to do with this one.Fun, heck yes. Creatively inspiring, yes! Something I would wear to work as is, no. Something for a costume, all day long. This is going to be fun and fabulous after some thinning shears and fun colors meet this wig! Never had a wig that left me so inspired to create as this one.

It’s actually a warm color and not a cool color (like the color of condensed milk cut with a little milk to make it lighter. See highland cow photo with crayons for reference colors.) so it doesn’t look as well on me as I’d like. The cut is a little long on me (it looks a bit heavy on me) so I wanted to style it in pigtails, but the hair is too sparse for that. When I put it in pigtails, you could clearly see the lines from the base of the wig in the back (See hair closeup photo) my hair is dark and the wig is light so it really showed.). I took a star off for this. I think it's a bit sparse. I took out the pigtails, but I had to rearrange the hair carefully to hide the lines. I also used two upins to secure the back to my hair. It didn’t shed much and was easy to comb.The hair isn’t very shiny. I guess that would make it more realistic and bleached looking? It also feels a bit dry to the touch. It’s not really soft or silky (more realism?). I like the two combs in the front of the wig as it really helps to hold It in place (see crayons photo). It was not hotter or cooler than other wigs. There is a bit of skin top at the top where the hair is divided.It’s a nice wig for a Halloween Costume :)

Good and easy to put on, curls are nice and stay in place even when brushing. Can see the netting in some places at the back so need to style well. All in all still a good product

This wig is amazing. Soft and smooth with a natural feel, I was really impressed with it. Personally, I'm not much for restyling anything and luckily, this wig doesn't need any tweaks, straighteners or curling irons (although, if you have that set of skills, I understand it is more than possible to use them on this item). An excellent addition to the household. Can't wait for party season.
