They fall further and further behind. The interest level goes too.Now to comics. They look at the pictures follow the action then find that if they read the speech bubbles it makes it more interesting which leads to children valuing reading for enjoyment which can't be a bad thing.Can it?If you have a reluctant reader and these tend more to be boys then you can't do better than getting them a book that is 'cool' to read in front of their friends has a high interest level and is enjoyable.

This was my first Simpsons comic collection, and its still probably the best! Admittedly, the pages are coming loose in places, and the cover has taken lots of wear (could have been stronger - that goes for all of them!) but this is such a funny book. The comics don't get boring, the jokes are brilliant, and its a nice 'bright' collection - not a dark boring collection like 'The Simpsons Strike Back'. A must for the Simpsons lover!
