Works great!
This 300 amp Circuit Breaker, Manual Reset Inline Fuse Waterproof Circuit Breaker for Car Marine Trolling Motors works great! I have it in my truck and use it for my stereo. I like that I can separate the system from power so I can safely work on it without having to disconnect the battery every time. Easy to install and even easier to use.

Needed a solution to safeguard my hard-wired jumper cables and winch
After installing hard-wired jumper cables and winch on my jeep I grew concerned if the cables should short to ground my jeep would be a total loss to fire or at very least there would be significant damage if there was no safety in the circuit. My winch will draw 400 amps at full load. The winch has a 10000 lb capacity but my jeep only weighs 5-6000lb. I choose the 300 amp breaker so if there is a dead short it will kill power. The connections on the breaker are threaded posts so if I get into a situation that I need the full 10000lb capacity I can remove the cable and wire it directly to the battery. I also have hard wired jumper cables, so I don't have to open the hood to use them. I had the same concern about a short. Since I will only ever use one of these at a time, I think that the 300amp will be ok. I am hoping this will work the way I want it to, by protecting my jeep and also allowing me to use the winch or the cables. The breaker is waterproof and well built. I have used similar breakers in many other pieces of equipment and love the manual reset option just in case it is needed. High quality breaker for a great price. I would definitely recommend.

Looks like a quality built circuit breaker
I ordered this circuit breaker to install on the feed to my RV inverter. I wanted to be able to not only protect it but have a disconnect if needed. Overall it appears to be a quality built device. It trips when the button is depressed and the reset lever operates easily. Both of the terminals have 1/4" threads and have rubber protective caps. The breaker comes with mounting screws, four copper washers and two copper wire lugs (for up to 6 gauge wire). It is water and chemical proof which won't matter in my use. Once I have actually completed my project I will have a much better idea of how well it works, but at this time I am glad I ordered it.

Nice build but..
I'm sure based on the build it's 300 amp however the 1/4" posts wont carry 300 amps safely. I thought the larger amps would have posts that would handle the load, but seems to be a safety hazard with not enough post to handle the load.My other 300 amp has 3/8' posts and is pretty stout and larger as well as handling the 4/0 cable lugs. This one would may heat up with the current up to the amps and time needed to throw the breaker.I gave it 3 stars because it is built well, just needs larger posts.

Using circuit breaker to replace fuse
I am upgrading a golf cart from flooded lead acid batteries to Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. Part of the upgrade is replacing the 300 amp fuse with a 300 amp circuit breaker. This circuit breaker appears to be well made, and will enhance the battery installation.

Quality breaker
Good quality similar to others I have. Nice big enough terminal bolts. Clicky responding reset switches. Functions exactly as desired. Recommend.

Questionable but seems to work
So I’m a little sideways on this circuit breaker because it’s small, light and has tiny terminals. I have yet to run a load big enough to get it to trip but I’m a bit scared to by the way this thing is setup. It handles a 100-150amp load fine but it does get quite a bit warm.
