This is a good product and is effective but some jars tend to smell rancid. It's very sad because this is a cold pressed product and it's vegetarian so it works in all other respects.

My husband has arthritis. Black currant oil is a great pain reliever. He is able to move more freely and can manage his pain with a lot less additional meds. I have seen this black currant oil work for another family member who was "down" in their back. They were able to get up and walk to the chropractor.

Organic ? but with Sorbitol ? that's odd. Reading other reviews I wonder if my bottle is not rancid. I just assumed it was horrible smelling stuff. UPDATE / I decided i should not consume anything that smells so horrid. The exp date says 2020 but fresh black current can't smell like these do. I will toss them and personally I would recommend avoiding this brand. From the reviews it seem you have 50/50 chance of getting a bad batch. Not good odds.

I was very happy to find a vegan capsule. I actually bite it and chew it up with the oil.

I bought 2 bottles of these and when I opened the first bottle, I could smell that they had gone rancid. I called Amazon and they were kind enough to send another and did not require that I send the bad one back. But this one soon went bad as well. The product must not be stored appropriately or maybe transported in a hot truck.
