Lovely little box bought to keep my daughter’s keepsake in.

I gave these a 5 star rating because I love them. For those of you into crafting, these are fantastic to stain, paint, or just decorate. The quality of the wood is good and and wood stain is soaks in well. The only thing I will say is, if you're going to paint them, be careful because too much paint can affect how they slide. Value for money? They certainly are. You can use them as trinket boxes, gift boxes, or even sweet boxes.

A nice box! I bought the 24.7 x 14.9 x 5.9 version and the dimensions are as stated. White wood, with good quality joins and a nice natural wood grain. The hinge action is great and the catch is perfectly placed. One thing that loses a star for me is the machined edge around the perimeter of the lid on mine is inconstant and there's a noticeable step in level on one corner where the tool used had varying blade height. This rather spoils an otherwise lovely box. Also, there are a series of minor dents in the lid on mine. I'll be customising this to house 3 Lamy calligraphy pens. A reasonable price, relatively good quality and ripe for customisation!

The box is a nice size for what I want but the main issue is how thin the wood is - it feels like I'll break it if I more than lightly touch it. Hopefully as I'm using it for sewing accessories it will be fine

I use this item as a desk top storage box. I keep my National Trust and English heritage membership cards and bookmarks in, perfect item for this purpose would recommend. The process was excellent and the service was superb

Ideal for decorating in your own way. Would make a nice gift if you are artistic & want to decorate it to match the receiver. Good price & nicely put together.

I filed the finger holes to enlarge them slightly then coated the boxes in bee friendly weather protective oil. Now attached to my bee nest boxes with garden wire and filled with Red Mason and Leafcutter bee cocoons. Fits nicely under the UK Mason Bee boxes

I like the box but the finished hinges and closing mechanism was not good quality. It's as if old pieces were fixed on as they showed a little corrosion and marked as if they had been taken from something else and put on. The box itself, was ideal for my purpose in so far as I needed such a box for a product I am making and wanting to sell in such a box. Because the hinges and closing mechanism were poor quality I would need to change these parts for the box to be presented as something new. That's not great considering I will need to buy those parts as extra. Since I need a quantity of these boxes I am not sure I can trust the quality enough to buy more. Otherwise the box was great. It is made of a light wood so as the wood isn't so thick it will not be sturdy for heavy items but it is ideal for my purpose and any light use. It could be finished with a varnish for anyone wanting to create a decorated finish but it would need to be rubbed down first. Again, it is all about purpose so for my purpose it is great... but for the hinges and closing mechanism. I took a photo but my photo quality isn't good enough to show the reality so I left that. If the maker had put new hinges etc. on the box I would have given it 5 stars all round.

Geheel gemaakt uit multiplex, niet helemaal perfect passend en soms wat grof afgewerkt. Voor opbergen van hobbyartikelen geweldig systeem. Makkelijk te stapelen en evt. te verlijmen. Schuift aan beide zijden open maar dat kan opgelost worden met een latje aan de achterzijde. Ideaal voor kleine hobbyartikelen.

Caja de madera maciza y buen tamaño que se puede utilizar bien como joyero o para otro menester. La madera viene al natural y con buena veta por lo que se puede adaptar a diversas técnicas decorativas. A mi me ha encantado y la volvería a comprar sin duda.
