Chestnut LO500 Lemon Oil , 500ml

This oil was recommended in a magazine as one way of getting rid of a musty smell in old furniture. Some time ago I bought an antique wardrobe and chest of drawers in a sale room only to discover that both smelled very musty. I liberally rubbed lemon oil in to the inside of each.....removed the excess after 15mins and left all the doors/drawers open. At first I thought that I had made a mistake as the oil smelled strongly but the smell mellowed over a few days. The mustiness is now gone.I also used the oil on the exterior of the chest of drawers to bring out the grain in the wood and this worked really well.......lots of surface dirt was removed. I believe it can be used on musical instruments such as guitars.

Used this to freshen up the interior of an old dresser . A little goes a long way . Very pleased with the end result.

This is the best oil to bring back natural colour to old and new wood.The oil does not leave a tacky feel, to the touch.

The lemon oil is very different from run of the mill wood oils. Its thin so is easy to apply and the fragrance is beautiful
