Is this suitable for making doll house furniture?

If it is the same 1mm thick crafting card I got then it should be fine. I use mine for mounting and character tokens for my grandkids d&d.

no, it's not waterproof - it's cardboard...

Can i use this for making greetings cards, i cant find any card and envelope packs that are big enough for my crafting

No, this is greyboard like you get on the back of A4 paper pads. Too thick for cards. If you want to make A4 sized cards you would need 250 - 300gsm weight card. Search A4 card blanks in Google. I buy my card blanks from Colemans craft warehouse in Rushden. They have a web site. I don't think I have seen a4 card blanks anywhere, you may need to make your own.

Could I use this thickness for small book covers and could I machine stitch through card?

The card is 1mm thick. I would think it is OK to use for book covering but I’m not sure about machine stitching.
