What a great book on delegation. The book gave some sound instruction and tools to be a great leader in the art of delegation.

Best book I've found on how to delegate
OK, a lot of this is common sense, once you read it. But most managers have never had any training specifically on how to delegate. You just learn it on the fly, by doing it -- and that often means you don't learn how to do it very well. I set out to find a good resource to use with my team of managers, I purchased and read about five books on delegating, and this as the best one. It's not awesomely perfect, no huge "aha!" moments, but it provides a good solid description of the basic steps and some practical advice on how to delegate successfully. The examples are pretty hokey, but it's probably hard to conjure up real-world examples that would apply to every type of business or industry. As our team worked through the book, the questions at the end of each chapter were helpful, although they're very basic -- but at least they served as a springboard to discussion. I highly recommend reading this book with some peers or co-workers, it helps tremendously to discuss each chapter with someone else. So overall, 4 stars, best book I found on the topic, although I wish there was something even better out there.

Good ideas and easy to follow instructions
The book provides solid ways of delegating as well as troubleshooting when delegating. I like that it emphasize the need to look how as a manager we are doing things.

The author provides good reasons to delegate as well as common reasons that busy managers give for why they don't delegate. He follows this up with ways to get tasks off your plate that are better delegated to others.

Concise
This book is a quick, powerful read. It concisely breaks down five steps in delegating tasks to your staff properly.One of the key takeaways for me was to make sure the “monkey” does not get transferred back to you. When delegating, you might have employees that are skilled at not taking on more tasks or making you feel that it would just be quicker if you did it. This book provides strategies on how to handle those situations.Anyone who is new at management should give this a read. Especially, if it is on sale with Amazon Kindle, grab it.

Clear and to the point. The author covers the importance of knowing how to delegate.Every manager should read this book. Leaders will benefit from it, too.

This book discusses a simple (but critical) topic with an appropriate amount of content. It's a quick read with concrete practices that can be implemented immediately.
