I have been making do with a very old Galaxy Fame, which was painfully slow, and it was at a point where most apps were no longer compatible with it so I decided to treat myself to an upgrade. I picked the Cubot X18 Plus as it met all the requirements within my budget and it most certainly has been an upgrade!On opening the box for the first time I was amazed at the size. To go from my old 3.5" screen to this 5.99" has made using the phone an absolute joy. No longer are my fingers hitting the wrong part of the screen and typos seem like a thing of the past. The screen is vibrant and responsive, I actually have the brightness set to 30% for everyday use, and the FHD+ screen is so crisp I no longer see pixels like on my old phone.In the hand, the phone feels solid and well made. It has a nice weight without being too heavy and the 18:9 screen ratio keeps everything contained for comfortable usability. It comes with a clear gel case, which is great for grip, and also a factory fitted screen protector.The phone performs every task effortlessly. The incredible 64GB storage and 4GB RAM means you can run multiple apps without any lag and will have loads of storage for apps, selfies and videos. Everything feels so fast and snappy.There are so many features and everyone seems like an improvement over my old phone. Android Oreo is great and being the latest version means a certain level of future-proofing. The camera takes lovely crisp photos with a fast capture speed [see sample photo]. The 4G data is noticeably faster than my old 3G data. Call / speaker quality is clear. The GPS is on point. The fingerprint sensor is a great, faster alternative to the swipe unlock. Battery life is good, I get 2 days life with medium use, and charging is surprisingly quick. The dual sim slots are handy if you want to combine your work and personal number in one phone.For me, this phone really doesn't have any bad points. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and functionality of this Cubot X18 Plus as it is my first experience with the Cubot brand. I am really pleased with my purchase, it has made using my phone such a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.

We had great hopes for this phone. We should start by saying as it was a prime deal we only had around 15 min to make up our mind and as such there was only one review for this item at that time, be careful when checking the reviews as they were for different Cubot models.As for this phone it looked great, ideal size and with android 8 was easy to set up and everything worked just great. However there was a major drawback and that it would not pick up 4G on any of the 2 sims. We checked the sims with another phone and also at our local EE shop and the sims were working just fine, so it could only be the phone. If you buy one and you get 4G them you will have a fantastic phone.

Does everything my pixel 2 does that I use. Had it for a few days now and seems to be working as it should. Will update review if anything changes but quite happy with this phone. Please note: when you our input the uk sim it may be on 3G. All you need to do is go into your mobile network setting and search >>> may take a few mins >>> then select the 4G on your network and it will register and you’ll be ready to go 4.5* >>>> update after about a week: the only gripe up to now is that every time you power cycle the phone it goes back to the phones primary connection of 3G so you have to keep setting 4G, which works fine but I have messaged the seller to see if there is any way to lock to 4G permanent .. so dropped a star for now to 4 which is still a great review

I have to say this is a brilliant phone for the dollars. 18:9 is great on the hand and the eye. Stripped down Oreo is very snappy. Screen looks very sharp. No plastic bits. Looks and feels like a premium product. I use it mainly for usual texting, calls, surfing and streaming music. Performs very well. Can't comment on gaming etc cos I'm not into that but for my needs it's perfect and hasn't broke the bank. Comes with a screen protector and a slim case. My screen protector had a bit of dust under so took it off and replaced with a glass one which is probably better anyway as I don't think it has hardened glass but as long as you don't throw it at a wall then I think it will stand up. All around well worth it if you're in the market for a decent budget phone.

This is one of the worst phones I ever had in my life. Discharges in 1hr maximum, laggy,poor camera, some messed up chinese cheap screen that has some purple colour.On top of that after 3 months use it will stop working and ask you to erase everything from it if want to restart or else will not work, internet connection very slow with it (some times doesnt even show the wi-fi avalible) I would rather spend that money on a Nokia as I know it would be bad.ALL THE DESCRIPTION IS A COMPLETE SCAM NO BUY NO TRUST... CHINESE PHONES ALWAYS CHEAP TO SHIP

I think the quality of this phone is excellent. I really don't know how you can get so many features that are found on much much more expensive phones for just over £ 110.
