It’s a lot man. Like so much.
I didn’t really pay too much attention before ordering in how much curing salt I need. It’s like a teaspoon per 5 pounds of meat. This is a 2 pound bag. That means this big is good for curing 960 pounds of meat. That’s like a whole Oregon Trail’s worth of meat. Nothing wrong with it but if you’re just getting started curing stuff this might be an optimistic amount of salt to buy but it’s cheap, it works and it’s pretty!

works well for dry curing hams
Have used this for the past 8 years now for dry curing country hams. Works great. Product in a durable, resealable bag which is useful since we are only using small amounts over multiple years. Product was in stock and delivered in a timely manner.

Le pongo una estrella menos ya que no tiene la dosis ideal en el empaque y las dosis recomendadas en su página viene en medidas que no usamos en México (1 Oz por 25 Lbs.) así que tuve que convertir a gramos por kilo (2.5 gr X Kilo de carne) ...de nada.
