I ordered the xs for my Holland lop rabbit. Now I know what you're thinking.... A bunny... Really? Yes really! Those things are built with razor blades for nails. Anyway... Back to the caps. He's a 5 month old Holland lop, he's still learning that being held is okay. Sometimes he panics and tries to escape. Instead of dropping him I take the abuse. I'm tired of being cut up so hopefully this will help until he can learn to trust me. They worked well on his back legs. I didn't need to cut them the front are going to be a whole other story. But for now his back feet are taken care of (and the worst in my opinion as far as scratches lol) I will wait until later or tomorrow for the front give him and me a break before we attempt it again. Pros: glue is sticky, good value for money spent, instructions were easy albeit small print, cute colors, wonderful packaging Cons: subject was not very willing to cooperate (lol) , the glue rushes out and is really really sticky,

TLDR: These are amazing! Easy to use, stays on a long time. He don't even notice them so they have to be comfortable or he would rip them off! Plus he's cute with his baby blue nails. If you're considering try this, it's worth a try. Your furniture will thank you! I have never used these before on any cat I have owned and was hesitant to try them. Of course I would NEVER declare my cat, it's wrong don't do it!! Anyways, I decided ok these are cheap I'll try it once and see. I had a fear he would freak out (he don't like his feet touched!) pull them off, it would go down his throat and choke him. Trust me I thought of everything lol. I put 2 on just to see what he would do and how hard it would be. No he didn't like it but it wasn't hard. I clipped the tips of his nails then placed them on to see if the size and fit was good. They fit perfectly so I glued them on. Then I let him go and waited for him to completely freak out....annnd nothing lol. He didn't care at all which shocked me! To be safe I waited to the next day. Still nothing he never noticed. So I put the rest on. Hes had these on for about 2 weeks and so far 1 has come off which is great. I will definitely keep using these. Also the glue tips, you can reuse them. Put them inside small glass bowl of acetone for about 5 minutes then rinse them. Good to go for the next time. Or you can buy more if you prefer.

I have been using these nail caps since Floyd the boy void was a kitten. They last a long time for him, and it prevents us and our furniture from getting clawed up. The multiple colors are fun! When one comes off, I just put another one back on.

I’m currently unable to use these because the size XS is still too big for my kitten’s claws even if I trim them down. So I’ve decided to wait on that part of my review until he’s grown some and I can use them to see how effective they are. It comes with 8 tubes of adhesive and 8 applicator tips. As narrow as the kitty caps are I suspect that the applicator tips won’t be much good after one or two uses. The tips of the applicators will likely have to be cut after the first use due to adhesive drying in them. I think the design wasn’t really thought through on those. The kitty caps themselves come in tiny little baggies with two colors to a bag. This is nice because they aren’t floating around in the little container everything comes in. When it comes to colors don’t expect to get an even number of each color. Yes, they give you 16 colors, but I got 9 silver ones and 11 teal glittery ones. I figure that’s ok because my boy can just have a pop of color on one of his paws when I get the chance to use them. If you’re particular on a male or female cat using traditional colors (blue for boy, pink for girl) then this probably isn’t the set for you. I have a boy and about half of the colors are traditionally associated with girls. The caps seem to be made from a soft plastic like material. If you have a stubborn kitty the installation or application will probably be easier with two people or a kitty hammock to hold him/her. Overall, compared to other more expensive brands I think this is likely a good value. I will update my review after using the product on my kitten. Thank

Best thing ever invented! My cat loves to click them on the side of his water dish, and likes to stomp his feet walking into a room so we can all hear him coming. They work well because he likes to use his paws to get my attention- if he’s not wearing them- that is painful to me. They are easy to use, fit well & stay on well. I’ve been using them on Rascal for 4 years now. They last about 60 days. I take him to Petsmart & have his nails trimmed & they put them on for $20. Best thing ever! Rascal is 5 yrs old and he has been wearing them most of his life. I think he likes them because it helps him with his swayer coming into a room. I love them because he doesn’t accidentally snag me with him claws or stab or scratch me. Win-win they come with the caps & nail glue. Also he can’t climb as well.. a plus

I tried these for my cat because she destructive to furniture and I wanted to avoid having her declawed. My cat is a little over two years old, and doesn’t like to sit still for anything. So getting her to stay on my lap for claw trimming and then placing caps on all her front claws was a big challenge. I ended up splitting the process into multiple sessions to give both of us a break. The adhesive is fast drying, which is good if the claw cap is placed correctly the first time. But with a squirming cat that is unhappy about what’s happening to her, not many of the caps were placed correctly the first time. I ended up with adhesive all over my hands, wasted a few of the caps, and had one fall off within a day. I tried wearing gloves to protect my skin from the adhesive, but the claw caps are so small that I couldn’t work with them while wearing gloves. We eventually got them all in place (and replaced for the one that came off). She seems to have gotten used to them and hopefully the process of putting them on goes smoother as we get more practice with it.
