This supplies a good dose of quality Maca in one capsule. I usually take powdered Maca in a smoothie but this is my go to Maca supplement on days when I don’t have a smoothie. Super fresh, smells great, made in USA .

It upset my stomach so can't give a full review. But I can't fully fault the product as my stomach is sensitive to some things. Capsules are easy to swallow with no taste. I would say try them and see how they affect you.

THIS WORKS! If you are not familiar with this tuberous root, it's a great one to read up on. Indigenous people of South America have used this as a nutritious food item and natural remedy for several health complaints for centuries! PLANT THERAPY is a great company because their supplements are very clean, they use rice flour as an anticaking agent, instead of magnesium stearate and use vegetable cellulose to make the capsules. That's it, just the plant and the necessary ingredients to deliver it!I take maca every day, I find that it helps me with energy and recovery after stress. I usually put the powder in my smoothies, but these capsules are great for on the go, when you don't have time for a smoothie or for travel!

I love this brand for their rssebtial oils and body products. They're fairly priced and good quality. However this is their second supplement I've tried with no effect. Ive been taking maca off and on for years and this one does not smell like maca root. I dont have the effects from it I usually have either. It doesn't have a taste because it's in a capsule, but that malty taste isn't there upon opening.

It’s just Maca extract (500 mg in each capsule) rice flour in a cellulose capsule.What I discovered was that Maca is very energizing for me and I was taking it in the afternoon or evening. I also was having an odd insomnia and finally realized it was the late in the day Maca. I now take my Maca in the morning when I want that extra energy and clarity and leave the calming adaptogens, herbs, magnesium, etc. for late in the day and bedtime.
