I've been using my Engel 19qt Lunchbox for a few weeks now, and I'm absolutely blown away by its performance. This thing is a beast when it comes to keeping things cold. Nice cooler keeps items cold for a few hours it is easy to clean with soap and water removing residue the shoulder strap is alright

This cooler keeps everything inside it COLD. Even if the ice melts, the temperature doesn't change. This is a great value for the price!

Best lunch box i have ever had!!! Keeps my food cool for the entire 15 hours I am gone, and also has room for my extra food I keep for emergencies. My meal prep containers fit and do not fall over.

This is definitely a long term review of this cooler/lunchbox as I ordered mine in May of 2018 and have used it daily since that time as my lunchbox and occasionally as a small cooler. It performs fantastically as my daily lunchbox. I work in a factory that gets super hot in summer and I can put in ice packs and it keeps my drinks and food cold for duration of my shift. It’s very sturdy in its construction, except for a couple of issues. One of the plastic hinges on the back did eventually break. But after probably 4 or 5 years of use. They do make metal replacements and that’s what mine has on it now. Also, the strap on mine broke not long after having it. I ended up making my own strap for it and still use it to this day. As far as everything else, it’s been fantastic. I paid around 40 dollars for mine 7 years ago and they’ve more than doubled in price since then but so has just about everything else. I remember an older coworker at the time commenting on the price and how he’d never pay that much for a lunchbox. It been worth it to me even with replacing the hinges. That is one thing they should change is make them with metal hinges and ditch the plastic ones. You won’t be sorry if you ourchase one but like other reviews stated it’s not going to hold ice for a few days on end but for short trips or for a daily lunchbox it works fantastic. A great little cooler/lunchbox.

Great lunch bucket. Especially for the mines. Saw a bunch of people using these when I was at a mine down in Alabama. Figured if half the mine uses them they gotta be good. Got one and it's great. Throw an ice pack in it and keeps my drinks cold all day. Also keeps all the dust out. Easy to clean if it does get dirty inside from your hands being dirty while grabbing stuff out of it.

Keeps everything cold. I use ice packs. I use it for work and things stay cold for at least 8 hours. The strap that comes with it could be wider at least two inches to keep it from sliding and more padding for the shoulder it doesn’t have padding. The tray is nice but wish it was wider by about 4 inches so forks and knives can fit.

-better then any Colman cooler or igloo I’ve had, I’d say same performance as yeti or better. - I’m currently a travelling tradesman home on weekends I bring my food for the week lunches and dinners in this cooler. All the food stays ice cold for the whole time as I drive to site the first day so food is in full sun and outside of a fridge for about 15 hours and everything is ice cold still ( very little ice required). - I also use this as a lunch box I’m 300 pounds and can sit worry free on. I leave my keys and other stuff on the top shelf in the cooler and my keys are cold at the end of the day from my frozen lunch even when the cooler has been empty for a few hours. - the only bad thing is that the Engel logo i received looks straight outta the 90s not the simple red Engel logo pictured. I’ve tried to take the sticker off but seems to be almost bonded to the plastic cooler.

Highly recomended, i own 6 different coolers, ORCA, Coleman steel belted, etc, and this is the one that i use most by far. Very practical. Altamente recomendable, tengo 6 hieleras de diferentes tamaños y tipos, de todas, esta es la que más uso , por ser ligera, práctica, y alta mente portable. Este tamaño, de 19 qt, es la más conveniente. La llevas a todos lados sin ocupar mucho espacio, sirve de lonchera tambien. Lo único que no me gustó, es q las bisagras son de plástico y no de metal, fuera de eso, es un must have, si te gustan los outdoors.

Habe die Box für den Transport für kühlbedürftige Lebensmittel gekauft und mit Datenblogger für einen gewissen Zeitraum überwacht. Die Box hat von der getesteten Boxen am Besten die Temperatur gehalten. Der Schnappverschluss sorgt dafür, das der Deckel zu bleibt auch wenn die Box kippen sollte. Die einzige Schwachstellen könnte das Scharnier darstellen, da der Deckel nicht ganz umklappen kann und somit brechen könnte

I love this product however one of the latches are a little stiff and make a creaky noise.

This is absolutely worth the money. I am a trucker and use the cool box for all day carriage of fruit and soft drinks. Note that, with cool blocks, the height of this will only allow 0.5litre Coke, Pepsi, or San Pellegrino bottles. You can double stack Coke cans, no problem but if you want to put wine or champagne bottles in this , go for the bigger size 30 litre. It’s bomb proof and the rubber seal and clips keep things cold, even on warm days well into the next day. My daughter was so impressed she’s bought the bigger one for her family too.
