Duke Cannon WWII Era Big Brick of Soap for Men - Victory, 10oz. Limited Edition

Can I just say I love Duke Cannon. This stuff wakes me up in the morning, I smell great and the bar lasts longer then other brands. I do wish I could smell like this longer. The scent does not go for more then a few minutes out of the shower (you are left just smelling clean). So if that is what you are looking for, but the spray scent but if you love that clean invigorating feeling from the shower all you need is the bar. I like to just stand there in the shower and get a good sniff before I let loose cleaning all my 2,000 parts (maybe that was another soaps slogan, LOL). So in conclusion if you like masculine scent, moisturizing your skin and a clean feeling, this scent is for you.

If you want a soap that lasts a long time, this is for you. If you want a soap that's gonna make you smell nice. Look elsewhere. The scent is good but super weak. It won't last you more than an hour and even then no one will likely notice unless their nostrils are pressed up against you. That being said. If you're relying on a soap bar for your smell goods, then you're doing it wrong. The soap does the job it was intended for. Gets you clean and does so many times before dissipating.

Some relevant notes before I begin:1) I apply my soap to a wash cloth or loofah, so the bar wasn't exposed to running water for extended periods of time.2) I shower daily, sometimes multiple times a day; this soap saw a lot of use.Pros: I bought this soap on April 15th, and it was delivered on the 19th; I am ordering its replacement today. It lasted almost two months, which is great. The price per use is the most efficient I have seen without getting a ton of garbage in your soap. It has a pleasant peppermint scent, which has lasted throughout the life of the bar. Lathers up well, doesn't leave a residue on my skin.Cons: Didn't really do anything for my skin. The soap doesn't moisturize (don't think it claims to) and I did not notice any exfoliating action, even when I rubbed the bar directly on my skin. It really is just soap. Despite careful handling, the bar wore through in the middle, leaving me with two smaller chunks. A minor inconvenience, which I believe comes from how over sized it is.I feel foolish leaving an in-depth review for a bar soap, but I've struggled to find a decent one that lasts more than two weeks. Overall, the soap meets most of my requirements at a great price point.

This is one big bar of soap! It will make a great stocking gift for Christmas.

I love the smell of this soap. I initially purchased it for my husband but since I love sandalwood I use it too. Big, large bar perfect for my husband's large hands. Hard for me to hold when it's brand new. Hope they keep making it.

I thought it was a bit pricy. But it really is a BIG bar of soap. I got the pouch/rope thing. That's practically a necessity since hanging onto that big bar can be a challenge. The scent name "Naval Diplomacy" is funny to me. But it smells great according to my 14-y/o grandson I bought it for. I'm pleased.

I bought this soap for my husband. This soap is amazing even I will use it. The scent is soft not over powering and my skin feel soft.

Went by reviews and as you can see this is a $20.00 to $30.00 bar of soap so one should expect quality but after one use, the entire huge brick looking bar Disintegrated/Broke apart and bye bye soap!!!A lot of hype in terms of reviews...

When I was in the USA I finally bought a bar of Duke Cannon soap. It was the tobacco whiskey scent and I love it! After 4.5 months of use its still going strong albeit much thinner. This is a great brand and I love the way the 'brick' feels in my hands. Unfortunately, Amazon.de doesn't carry all variants of Duke Cannon products so I decided to go with this WWII Navy themed scent. Its nice but I prefer the first one I got. I would like to buy the 'tactical scrub bag' but I'm not paying 64 euros when you can get it for less than 18 dollars in the States.All in all I highly recommend!
