Epoxy resin, primer, activator, gloves, brushes, rollers, and even a stir stick were all included in the package, which made me extremely glad to find that it had everything I need. It was not necessary for me to make any further excursions to the store in order to purchase additional things. However, in order to ensure that I had a complete understanding of each step before beginning, I had to go over the instructions a number of times. The instructions were not particularly complicated. Due to the fact that I do not have a lot of expertise with do-it-yourself tasks, this was quite beneficial. The application of the product was surprisingly simple; nevertheless, in order to get a faultless finish, you will need to exercise some patience. One of the first things I did was sand down my previous laminate countertop in order to make the surface smoother. When it was finished, I proceeded to apply the primer, which dried in a reasonable amount of time. The mixing and application of the epoxy resin was the most thrilling element of the process. Because it has a thick and viscous consistency, I had to move it about a little bit in order to make sure that it covered evenly. You have a nice window of opportunity to make modifications if they are required since the epoxy takes some time to cure. For the purpose of eliminating any air bubbles and achieving a glossy, flawless appearance, I discovered that using a heat gun was of great assistance.

I am not an artist and I realized that going into this project, but my goodness this was a failure from the start! We had a very dark brown granite sink top and this did not completely cover it. The directions said two coats would suffice, in the end I did 6 and I still didn’t cover in some spots. The gray veining paint dried almost immediately making it very difficult to spray with water and “break up” to look more natural, so instead it just looks like my dog scooted their butt on countertop. Then after the epoxy set, it’s now bubbled in some places and looks terrible. So bummed because I spent so much on this kit and now I have to spend even more to replace the entire counter. Would not recommend or use again.

I highly recommend this kit for anyone who is wanting to try an easy solution to making their counters look new!!

i wanted to update my kitchen countertops without spending a fortune, and this kit seemed like a good option. the process was messy, though. i had to be really careful to protect my cabinets and floors. the instructions were clear enough, but it definitely takes some skill to get a good result.the final look is okay. it's not exactly like real marble, but it's an improvement over what i had before. the finish is smooth and seems pretty durable. it's held up well to daily use so far.it's not perfect, though. the color isn't quite what i expected. it's a bit more gray than white. i also had some trouble getting an even finish. there are a few spots where it looks a bit blotchy. honestly, i think you need to be a bit of an artist to get a really good result with this stuff.overall, it's an okay product. it's not a miracle solution, but it's a decent way to update your countertops if you're on a budget and don't mind putting in some effort. just don't expect it to look like a professional job unless you have some artistic talent.
