Living in Michigan where we dont see much sunlight in 3 of our 4 seasons this light was a suggestion by my husbands therapist to help with seasonal depression. The lamp base is heavy and sturdy, the pole is thinner than anticipated - but still good quality. I like that the top of the lamp pole is flexible so you can angle the light in many directions as we put this between our living room chairs and are able to alternate who has the lamp shining on them. I love the different levels of light - with blue/white light for the morning and early daytime and the yellow/amber light for the afternoon and evenings.I did need to make sure the base was oriented with the lamp properly for it to balance.I recommend it if you are trying to ward off the seasonal sadness.

I love this lamp! I put it in my living room near "my spot" and haven't turned on the overhead light in months. I love that it has a remote, that the brightness can be adjusted and depending on our mood, we can change the color of the light. We prefer the warm light but have used all of the options and enjoyed them. I do feel it's helped with my SAD. It looks great in my living room. I will definitely order another one of these in the future for my upstairs! It's a little on the pricier side but I feel it's worth it overall.

I am in a basement without any real natural light, I have been getting super drowsy because of that and as a consequence productivity was at an all time low. But since I got this lamp I have been feeling more alert and productive!!Ease of use: super easy to use! It has buttons on the lamp that you can use to control the type of light and the brightness but my favorite part is that it has a control! This means that when I wake up in the morning I can easily turn it on from my bed and start my day right.Size: its a bit shorter than expected BUT it was actually not a big deal! I was a bit worried but it turns out the size is perfect for my area and the light reaches the whole basement so thats good!!Weight: its a bit wobbly so I did have to put some weight on it but not a big deal. I really like that the position of the lamp is adjustableOverall absolutely recommend, especially if you have seasonal depression!! Worth the buck!!

This floor lamp doesn't sit well on carpet. It's top heavy and easy to knock over. We had to put a weight on the base for safety. It would be a nightmare in a home with little ones. Otherwise it's OK. I wouldn't have bought it if I saw it in person. The light is nice and easy to change.

It is a very nice lamp. Looks good in my living room. You can set different lighting tones and brightness. It’s easy to control with the remote or the controls on it. You can also angel the lamp to your comfort. It was easy to build and pretty sturdy.

I really wanted to love this lamp. I love the look of it, the different shades of light, and how simple it was to put together. Unfortunately, this lamp will not stay up. It is very unstable. I followed the directions and have tried setting it up multiple ways but each time, the instability remains. The slightest bump or motion causes this lamp to fall over. I would not recommend, especially if you have pets. My cats are constantly knocking this thing over just by walking past it. I would return it but I already threw away all of the packaging.

EDIT: The seller reached out to assure things were made right. This exceptional customer service is greatly appreciated, so I modified the headline and changed the star rating from 2 to 3.ORIGINAL: Assembly seemed feasible until it wasn't. The off-center design of the pole in the base made assembly awkward. But the biggest problem was trying to click in the bulb after installing the shade on the gooseneck, its impossible to move the shade assembly back far enough on the gooseneck so there is room for the bulb to fully click into the connection. Regret spending the time on it. Returning.
