Received item. Immediately put on bottom of chair. Thought they were great, until I sat in the chair. The threaded (what I thought was metal) screw bent and completely broke in half. It is absolutely not solid metal. Buyer beware.

Love the red wheel color, (although it is orange on the heading). These 4" casters are heavy, much more substantial than I thought they'd be, with great quality wheel bearings as well. I didn't think I'd get such high quality at this low price, so I am excited to recommend them. You have a choice of brake or no brake as well. I looked for many hours for 8mm/1.25" threaded insert, for 3 or 4" red, blue, or orange caster wheel, with no brakes, for my 72" long sliding overbed table, and these are the only ones to be found on Amazon, that I know of. They make my table look so gorgeous, industrial or farmhouse style, and so easy to roll on heavy carpet. What a pleasurable change from the factory casters that looked up continuously and wouldn't slide on carpet.

Wherls are exactly what I needed. I am using them for my outdoor patio furniture. I assume they'll last outdoors. Missing the nuts on one of the boxes I ordered though. Very annoying
