Works great although a little too big to store in a standard wargame box.
Holds counters and magazine well. It's too big for a standard wargame box however. You will need to print a decal for spine or top/bottom if you want to see what game you have at a quick glance. Trays have a locking style lid so no worries of loosing counters if stored vertical. Very functional. 2 lid system, inner lid covers counters with recess for magazine then an outer lid covers that so it is very secure.

A great storage solution
Great for storing magazine games. The counter tray has its own lid and there is ample space for the magazine, map and rules.

Too big for conventional boxes!
The tray itself has good quality like any other. But be warned, it will not fit inside conventional boxes like GMT games! It’s more for outside storage, or bagged games. I wish this was made clear in the ad before I purchased and returned it.

Good solution for magazine game storage
Perfect for your magazine wargames. Includes plastic tray, with clear tray cover and a clear cover that fits over everything. Solid and tight fit. There are a fair number of magazine games that sorting trays are helpful in organizing all the counters and this is where I find them useful. Plastic bags are not always optimal for these games. One point worthy of note - you won't be able to put this into most game boxes as a sorting tray as its too large to fit. Good product for the price.

Nice depth, lids a little awkward to remove, too big for standard board game boxes
First off, these are clearly presented as being for certain types of wargames, but I'm always on the lookout for nice storage solutions for board games which have a billion little tokens, cubes, discs, etc. I have some GMT trays I've used for board games and I really like them, but have been looking for something a bit deeper. I was very happy with the depth on these as it's noticeably better than the GMT trays but still slim enough to not waste space. I was a little confused by the double lid since they both attach, but again, these are designed for "magazine" games so the tray with the initial inset lid is for holding all the bits in place while the outer lid is for storing the paper components on top - cool design. Both lids fit securely, although I found them both a little awkward to remove. The out lid is secured at the corners and it doesn't just lift off - I have to get between the two pieces on the side and pull at it a bit harder than expected. The inner lid comes off more easily, but it's a bit tricky to get under the little notch on each end with my fat fingers and minimal fingernails. I probably have to give the nod to GMT in terms of more easily removing the lid, although I do appreciate the flat-sided design here. The plastic is a bit thin, but seems sufficient to get the job done. Sadly, the biggest disappointment for me in particular is that these don't fit in either of the most common "large" board game box sizes. Granted, the measurements are listed right in the description, but I didn't have game boxes on hand to check. These are too wide for the rectangular Agricola-sized boxes, and too tall for the Ticket to Ride size. I'm sure I will find some use for them as there's a lot of box sizes out there, but this does limit there usefulness quite a bit if you're looking for board game storage. Overall, these are a nice design and I love the generous depth. The lids are tricky to remove but they do securely hold everything in place, which is more important. I wish they were a bit smaller for my desired purpose, but I'm sure they're well-sized for their original intention so I can't really blame that on them.
