Medela Duo Pump has been a great companion for me during this journey because it’s efficient, comfortable, easy to use and clean. It’s also Portable and has built-in rechargeable battery. So very very convenient for new moms like me.

So many of the reviews of this pump read like AI, and I would therefore like to correct the misinformation. 1. It is extremely loud. You will feel like your whole room is vibrating. It is impossible for baby to sleep nearby with this sound, even during the day. And using this around family members will get you enquiring looks, because what is that sound???? 2. If you dont need to insert the flange insert (for ppl requiring 24mm flange size), the seal is likely to be bad, and output will be reduced. 3. It is not lightweight at all. The motor is quite heavy. You need a big pocket to hold the motor. 4. It does not come with any pouch/storage bag. The tube has to be coiled and carried everywhere. I would not consider this portable. 5. On reading the manual, I have come to realize that the warranty is void if you dont use their original charger, which does not come in this package. There is a spot in the box for the charger, but they have only left the data cable there. So unless you buy the charger along with, you will be working with a warranty less product. 6. You need to download an app to see how long you have pumped, and what phase you are on, and that app lags. So if you start with stimulation phase for the 1st minute, it will continue to show stimulation phase for the entire 30mins you use it. The app connects through bluetooth. 7. If you switch to stimulation phase, it will switch back to the extraction phase after 1 minute. Pros The only pro is you can pump both breasts at the same time, but if you require different levels of suction for each, then again, you will get good output on one side and little on the other.
