Well Made
This recorder is metal and very durable/well made. It's easy to use with common sense recording and deletion processes. The sound is great as well. Overall a great little recorder and small enough to toss in your pocket or purse.

For the price, this thing is amazing
I took this with me to Europe, where I interviewed artists and attendees at a heavy metal festival. This device was supposed to be just the backup audio. However, it captured sound more consistently and faithfully than the $200 cardioid mic of my camera. Further, it's not too finicky regarding the placement: just angle it toward whoever is speaking, and if there are multiple people in that direction, it will pick up them all. Then with just a bit of EQ in the editing phase, the sound is great on the resultant videos. Further, the the device is so small and slim that it's easy and comfortable to slip into a pants pocket or small pocket of a camera bag. I jostled it around in a camera bag for two days, and it took no harm. So I suppose it's fairly sturdy. My one complaint is that it comes with (as I recall) either no instructions or simply not very helpful ones, and the device's controls are *not* intuitive. You'll need quickly to learn how to avoid deleting things accidentally, for example. All that having been said, you're not going to find a recorder that's comparable to this one in sound quality, sound sensitivity, portability, or durability through a music store for under $100, and most range from $300-$400. For the price (around $25 when I got it) this is a fairly amazing little recorder.

Doesen't actually record in MP3
This is a pretty solid recorder but I found that the MP3 128k setting is actually Mpeg Layer II(or MP2). The main difference is if you need to use editing software like Mp3DirectCut to edit you will need to convert your file to a true MP3 Layer III(MP3). I record some streaming stuff with Line In and I like to cut out the commercials to play in my car. It does work well for this. I have tried Wav 512 and it uses much more data so it cuts the files up more than MP2. The menu took me a bit to figure out but once you realize how it works it is pretty usable. Just don't know why they wouldn't us true MP3 standard.

EVISTR 64GB Digital Voice Recorder Review
This EVISTR 64GB Digital Voice Recorder arrives well-packaged, immediately giving a positive first impression. Picking it up, the recorder has a noticeable heft, which lends a feeling of solid construction and quality workmanship. Thankfully, setting it up was a breeze, as the instructions proved to be quite intuitive. To test its recording capabilities, I conducted a few trials at varying distances. At five feet, the audio captured was clear and easily legible, which is excellent. However, as the distance increased, the performance noticeably declined. At ten feet, the volume became marginal, and by the time I reached twenty feet, the audio quality was unfortunately poor. Considering my specific need for a recorder to capture business meeting summaries, the performance at shorter distances is encouraging. The solid feel of the device suggests it could withstand regular use. However, the significant drop-off in audio quality beyond a close range is a definite limitation. In summary: The EVISTR recorder boasts good build quality and user-friendly instructions. For recording audio within a close proximity, such as directly on a table during a meeting, it appears to perform well. However, if you anticipate needing to clearly capture conversations from across a larger meeting room, this recorder might fall short. It seems best suited for situations where the recorder can be placed relatively close to the speakers.

Perfect recorder with good clear playback.
Works great. I bought this for recording speeches given at a Celebration of Life so I could replay and listen to the speeches after the event. It serves my purpose very well. Because this was such an important event to me, I purchased two different recorders and used them both. This recorder did a great job and playback has good clarity. This was easy to use and is small enough to fit in a pocket if need be.

Ideal recorder for paranormal investigation
Very impressed with this recorder. Takes a little to get used to the buttons but otherwise it’s really practical, small, lightweight, and the battery life has surprisingly lasted longer than expected. I use this for paranormal investigation. It uses USB-C to connect to my laptop & easily uploads your files. Great value for the money. I would recommend this recorder Tip: follow the instructions & turn the settings up high to get fantastic performance However it still works well normal settings.

No voice-activated recording on line in
It does not appear to be able to do voice-activated recording when using line in, which is the main reason I bought it. It will do voice-activated recording using the built-in microphone, but not with line in. When using line in, it records continuously after hitting record, even with no audio present, regardless of whether Automatic Voice Recording (AVR) is set to On (Recording -> Menu -> Record set -> AVR Setting). Otherwise, it's a decent little reorder for a low price. Kudos for including a generous amount of built-in memory (57 GB of usable space). I'll keep the recorder and probably find a use for it.
