Very cool took for any sort of construction. Great value for the price. The square doesn't mark up easily. Perfect square, true size, accurate 100% of the time. It hooks to your belt so it is very functional.

Very accurate and very useful.I really like the tape measure because it it accurate and is both imperial and metric. You don't see that very often here in the USA (believe me I have looked) and it's handy.The mechanical pencil is really nice and designed for crafter.The holster can be useful if your a framer or job site worker that moves around alot.I like this square because of the special holes in it. It's very useful for assembly or nuts and bolts because you can use it to hold a nut still while you use a ratchet to tighten or loosen it.I do recommend this to anyone who is interested in buying a square.

I used this square and square holder set while building a shed. It was really helpful to be able to have my square with me all the time. I used it to mark boards while on a ladder, then guided my saw with it as I trimmed different pieces that needed cutting. The holster was good, a couple of times the latch opened on me during the day, but it did not fall off my belt. The tape measure was cheap and I swapped it out for a better 25 ft tape. The pencil was nice as well, it made good clean marks and was easy to dispense more lead as the tip wore down.

I added my own stuff to it very great holder and changed the belt loop excellent choice thought. I've changed it to a different kydex belt CLIP because I don't wear belts much they kydex holster doesn't work for me. Thanks rong pro for a good item. I'm in USA so we use the inches system. Their tape measure has cm too which is a good add.

Just what I was looking for

This rafter square set is high quality and the square is made of rigid aluminum. I made good use of this tool set on recent framing projects. The tool belt case can bee tricky to use. I prefer to use my leather pouch rather than the plastic clip that comes in this set. The tools themselves are very good quality and can't be beat at this price point.

This tool looks like a rafter square at first glance, but it isn't! A rafter square has protractor scales graduated in degrees of angle and in rise/run (inches per foot) for common and hip/valley rafters. This square has the protractor but none of the rafter scales. Metric circle and imperial hex openings are a relatively useless substitute.The holster, on the other hand, is a useful and innovative tool. Most cases for speed squares are bulky closed cases that are awkward for on-the-job use. This one will clip to a 2" work belt without removing the belt. It is quick and easy to get the square in and out. It also has a clip for a tape (included) and any marking instrument with a pocket clip can be attached easily. The included deep-reach marking pencil is not fancy but it works. it also comes with a good variety of replacement 'leads' in various colors. The bottom line is that I'll use the holster, tape, and marker, but with a 'real' rafter square.

I have a remote cabin. I cannot afford a 2nd set of hand and power tools. However its also a hassle to remember what to bring back-n-forth each time. While looking around I saw this kit and though it would be a helpful addition to the base tools that I keep at the remote cabin.
