I ordered these floodlights because my garage has really poor lighting. I wanted something that I could use in a workspace that gets almost no light and also in the evening for brighter lighting. These lights work perfectly for my needs. I particularly appreciate the fold-down stand at the back as the lights get unbelievably hot and cannot stand up on their own. The only thing I wish they had is an on/off switch. You can't leave them plugged in, and when you do plug them in, you have to make sure they are not facing you, or you will see spots. THEY ARE BRIGHT!! I've made this mistake twice, and I won't be making it a third time. I also wish the cord was a little longer. It's an easy fix with an extension cord, but I would have preferred a slightly longer cord. Despite these minor issues, I'm very impressed by how well-made and effective these lights are. With 5000K lumens and two in a pack, you can't beat it.

Waterproof and made to use outside. Also needed to light the yard up during the late fall winter months when the dogs go out to play. We will see how they hold up but so far great. Update: I went to measure these with a watt meter, and each one only draws 67W max, not 120W. Minus 1 star for inaccurate rating. I got these for flood lighting a work area in our shop. They work great for that purpose but we had to place them far enough away that we would not be glancing into it and hurt our eyes. These would be great for outdoors where you have an outlet nearby. If you put these on a stand of some kind, they'd also make a great replacement for the standard halogen work lamps people use for remodeling, and without as much heat. They came individually bagged. They give off a nice bright white temperature light.

I view these as a modern, LED alternative to the old halogen work lights based on 350 or 500W halogen bulbs. These fixtures a much thinner and lighter but not as bright as their halogen predecessors. However, they produce enough light and have a wide enough beam spread to be useful in many applications, and more useful than the halogens in applications where their excessive heat would not be tolerable.The spec says 120W, which is also marked prominently on the front bezel. I measured them both at 59W. There is also a warning to avoid touching the hot surface of the running lamp. In my opinion the lamp gets fairly warm but is not of much concern.The LED array covers a pretty large area, but it is still blinding to look directly at it. Somewhere around 70 degrees off axis and 20 feet away is about as close as I would go in an otherwise dark area. I am attaching a picture of this light shining on a work area about 15' away. This is just one light. Two, coming from different angles, would be great.Note that the lights do not have a power switch. I did not check the IP66 rating but the construction looks the part of a proper outdoor fixture. I am not considering the low price of these lights for my rating but if I did it would be worth a star. I knocked my rating down for the power spec and lower than ideal brightness. Probably 3.5 stars if 1/2 stars were allowed!

I've used a set of 60watt versions of these to replace the 500w halogen heads on an old school double head worklamp, The halogen light was OK, bright inside but got 'lost' outside. Replaced with the 60w LED panels I have used them to light up my whole front lawn (typical 1/4 acre suburban yard) bright enough to mow it after dark late in the season, and these are each as bright as the 2 60w panels. They appear to be built identically, with similar labels... to the others I've been using outside for a few seasons now with no problem, so I expect them to be just as durable.

Recently installed this and it is a huge upgrade compared to my last floodlight. This one is super bright, looks modern, and functions perfectly. Has a nice build quality to it and is easy to install. Excellent value here 5 stars *****

These are real nice work lights for the price. 6 foot plug is very helpful, though 8 would be perfect IMO.
