Great product
Purchased this and received it early. On opening the box and sorting the parts noticed we were missing 3 items, they were only small items but still. Contacted the customer service number and they advised that they didn't have the parts and would instead arrange for a new bird feeder to be sent. This just arrived which is within 3 days of me contacting them - really fast. The customer service staff were very friendly and followed through on what they said they would do.The bird feeder is easy to put together, really it is just the hanging handle that needs to be screwed on then the suet cages attached. It is sturdy and made of metal. I will update after a little while of use.

Extremely small
Good quality item and the seller is great to deal with. But… this feeder is extremely small and not worth the money to me. I returned the feeder for that reason.

not a perfect feeder but the birds love it
This is a big favorite in my backyard although it's not MY favorite.....but the birds are the voters here! I like the size....it's perfect for one 4# bag of seed which is how I get a lot of my bird food locally. It's certainly NOT squirrel proof or resistant, but again....the birds LOVE it. I typically put woodpecker seed (lots of nuts) in and use mealworm suet in the suet holders. I just got my second feeder, which replaced a previous feeders (same model) that the squirrels had bashed to death. The screws holding the wire holder had worked loose and the squirrels had a fine time jumping onto the feeder which eventually went crashing to the ground, bending the perch shut on one end of one side. Also, the suet feeders are loosey-goosey and I had to put clips on the top and bottom to prevent the squirrels from simply opening the suet holder and carting off the cake. The second feeder doesn't seem to HOLD the suet cages well, and every day when I come home I find the suet holders on the ground. I'll have to figure out a better way to secure them to the feeder. Through time the little prongs that hold the suet cages break off as well....probably due to squirrel abuse OR the weight of the pileated woodpeckers that love the suet. Despite all these quibbles, I listen to the birds! I get 4 kinds of woodpeckers on this feeder, in addition to 2 species of chickadee, red-breasted nuthatches, juncos and last month I photographed a Townsend's warbler eating suet!

Perch too small for most bigger birds
My yard is full of birds but, we were battling raccoons at night so we had to get a new feeder. We feed suet and black oil sunflower seeds year round. It has been 2 weeks since this new feeder arrived and still my cardinals will not use this feeder the perch is too shallow and slippery for my cardinals , gross beaks, blue jays. I am disappointed as this feeder is right out my kitchen window and the traffic to this feeder is not even half as much as we had before. I will be searching for another feeder to bring my favorite birds around again. Feeder is built fine and sturdy but, not a good design for larger birds.

Quality build, easy to fill and clean, so well designed
Yes ! Love, love this. Very sturdy construction. Great hanger included. No sharp edges. Looks like there is a poly coat on the surface which makes it a nice slick surface that's easy to hose clean. Super easy to fill with the hinged side of the roof. Have not had a problem with the seed getting wet in the bin. The side cages for the cakes are easy to pop on and fill easily. It even has confounded the squirrels --I hate to see them starve so they can get some seed out of the openings, but it's much harder and they move on. The birds love it. Have Kaytee fruit and nut blend in it now.

It holds a lot of bird seed.
I like this feeder because it hold a lot of bird seed, so doesn'thave to be filled very frequently. We have at least three generations of sparrows who live here all year round and nest in my barn. The feeder can accommodate 4 or 5 birds along the perches, and I love to watch them squabbling. The only drawback is that the suet holders are difficult to attach and the squirrels can open it.

Pretty good feeder
This feeder has worked out for me. The birds love the suet which I have not had before and the feeder does hold a lot of seed. Pretty easy to fill.I'm not thrilled with the fact that if you take it off the hanger the suet cages have to be taken off as well. The suet cages are very hard to open. I'm sure cannot get in them, but it has been difficult for me to fill them.
