It works! My kid has food aversions which result in a super limited diet. This thing gives me more options for school lunches. His teacher recommended this one and it really works. I have sent chicken nuggets and hot dogs which both stayed warm, not hot, until lunch. I don’t want or need the food to stay HOT hot so that works for me.I microwave water until it boils then fill the container and shut the lid, leave it for 5 mins, then microwave the nuts/dogs, dump the water, wipe it out and fill it up with hot food and close the lid as quickly as possible. If it sounds complicated, it isn’t! So easy and so happy I can provide more options for my little one at school.

I'm very impressed with the innovative design of this container. It's so simple, yet effective. It really has worked well and it's air tight. You just put the lid on top, then when you push the little handle down it seals the contents. It's sanitary and really easy to clean... the stainless steel is high grade.

My daughter was having trouble opening her last flask that had a twist off top. This flask opens easily by just raising the handle. I only hand-wash it. seems to work ok. My only complaint is that it seems a bit small. it is fine for soups but larger items not so much room in thers.
