I used to have a night light that plugged in the wall, but my wife wanted one that works with motion sensing. I found this-- I didn't think the fact that it's battery powered would be such a big deal, but it's actually great! Pretty nice discreet size too.

I wish this had an adjustable setting for the brightness because it's rather bright in my opinion for the middle of the night. The motion sensor is very sensitive, so that's a plus. I got this because hubby gets up in the night to use the restroom and is worried about tripping over or stepping on one of the dogs. This is a great solution except that it's too bright and that wakes me up every time. To try to combat that, I moved it low, shielded it with a box (not the best look) and that's better but I can't imagine this in a baby's room not being disruptive to sleep quality. I wish it has an adjustable setting on it.

Nice and exciting night light. Good to use attached to USB charger or with battery only. A very interesting conversation piece. I like the darkness and motion combination to turning it on, very sensitive to movement. Do not place it near a bed, the movement of the sleeping person will turn it on and might wake you up. Very practical. nice and bight. Battery does last long enough before needing recharging. The red glow it emits while charging is great and goes away when fully charged.

This is a motion sensor night light. It is rechargeable so you can set it anywhere you like. I got this because I have a room that is dark early in the morning when we have to pass through to get to the living room. The light switch is on the other side of the room. This Little Light pops right on reliably and bright! It helps you to navigate across the room safely. It also holds a charge for a good long while! It doesn't really look juvenile at all, there's just two little ears on top which are kind of cute. The motion sensor works flawlessly! I am very thrilled with the high quality of this motion sensor light!
