Philips brings another GREAT PRODUCT
Please note: I have only used the device twice so far.Due to the high cost of getting a hair cut I decided to do it myself; sure I can no longer get it lined to perfection, but at least it will save me a lot.In the past I have used Wahl and Babyliss (those under £25 cutters), but it got really awkward cutting my hair, especially around the ears and the back of the head. This is why I decided to give this a shot, because of its rotating cutting head and the fact that it is wireless. So lets get a look at some of its featuresPros;-Wireless; I don't have a shaver plug in my bathroom so this made a lot of sense. The battery life is 60 min, which means around 3-4 cuts.-Waterproof; just take of the cutter and place it under the tap. a really efficient and convenient way of cleaning the clipper.-Rotating clipper head: This is by far the best feature it has, no longer do you have to have an awkward grip on the clipper as you try to cut around your ears and the back of the neck. It wide range of angle options means no matter what you can just about anywhere without straining your self.-Rounded cutting edge: Gone are the days of where you nip your ears.Cons;-Erm.....None......I'm seriously trying to think of one....OH! it doesn't have a container or stand, but why complain for the features it offers at that price. This is the BEST DIY clipper out there, and as someone who has a couple of Philips products, you are getting a reliable product and there is an always helpful customer service for when things don't work right

Fantastic Clipper, Lacking equipment
Just got the item a few days ago.Only used it once and I already found a good deal of difference between this one and my previous Philishave.Good things:1-No scratching2-Even cut3-It helps cutting the hidden parts. So much that my usual blind spots are surprisingly well cut, not needing correction from my wife.4-So many degrees of cutting, range is very helpful, from less than 1mm to 30mm5-Turning head--I thought I would not use it, but it helps a deal with the ear surroundings.6-Very comfortable to hold7-Washable.8-No power loss from plug to wireless.(That was a surprise)Bad Things:1-It does not come with a bag? Quite bad.2-The plug, it comes with the UK/Ireland triple plug. Not really a choice in most bathrooms.Overall what I cared of is that the cutting experience and the handling are just perfect for my needs, I have weak hair on top but quite strong on the sides and back, so much that my previous clipper was getting stuck at times. With this one the whole cutting experience was right from the first second, no need to check manuals or adapting to it.The accessories are fine, so far I used the 3 to 15mm and 1 to 3mm. The first of them is just so smooth you have the feeling it is waxed, the second one is not that smooth but I guess it is kinda expected as it is fixed.By that I mean all the heads do have "suspension" but the shortest one so the experience will be smoother for those needing a short but not extreme cut. The ones looking for a 1mm cutting, just be milder in your movements :)So, the feeling is the "I'm a happy groomed camper" kind.I give it 4 stars due to having an inconvenient plug and the lac of a bag to keep it all tidy up.Good product indeed.

Great product
I'm very happy with this product, a great price and great quality. I like the features such as the light for the charger and all it's features are very simple and practical such as the handy rotating head and water proof. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I'm trying to master using it and have had a little mishap but that was just down to my incompetence! With regard to the complaint in some negative feedback saying that it doesn't cut evenly, I had the same problem. However I found that this is because on different parts of the front of my head the hair grows in different directions. Having been perplexed by initial unevenness I finally sussed it and ran the shaver against the direction of hair growth of the exceptional areas and the hair finally cut to the same length. Oil is provided though not essential and I personally prefer not to use it.Great product (even though the price seems to have gone up since I bought it at £29.

very handy
i really like the hair clipper, its design and how easy it is to use. the only problem is that the last 2-3 times i have used it makes a very loud squeaky noise and it stops working. at first i thought it was the battery, as maybe it was running out and it was automatically stopping itself. so the last time i plugged it in to use it, but it was toward the end, so it only ran 1-2 minutes like that and it didn't make that noise or stop. I will have to make sure if it is the battery dieing out or not.To me, i really think that there is something wrong with it. like either hair is gone somewhere inside and has jammed it, or that its a faulty clipper. I will try to update my review when i look into it more next time i use it.

Best Ever Clippers
My hair thinned many years ago, and at that time I decided to go for the cropped look rather than anything else. As a result I have bought several hair clippers over the past 15 years and, without a shadow of doubt, these are the best by a long way. Battery strength, recharge and durability is excellent, and the cutting/trimming process is smooth and painless, leaving an even cut all over. The rotating cutting surface (which I thought would be a bit of a gimmick) is actually very useful, particularly trimming around the ears and at the edge of my beard, and the machine is a very useful "hand" size rather than the bulkier and less manouverable types of old.All in all, an excellent bit of kit and I would recommend to anyone - even those with hair where I once used to have it!
