Great little pole
Great little travel pole for my work truck. The real sucks though. I replaced the reel with a spinning reel 1000 size with 4lb line.

I got this combo for the reel. To just buy the reel is another 5-10 dollars. I use them on ultra lite poles. I'm old and don't want a bunch of things just to make it work. I love this reel and ultra light pole for trout when casting a lot. I change the line in 1rst one to 2lbs green line will do the 2 nd with 4lb braded line. The one I've been using 3 yrs and caught a lot of trout with no problem. Think enough that I have 2 extra's. Will use for bass with 4-6 lb test with a light pole. Oh ya ta make this reel work push button and crank.

Damage
Purchased 2 for grandchildren. Could not turn the handle on one. It was bent into the reel. And the other's line was not spooled correctly. Had to take it apart to fix.

Ok reel for the price
This is a very light rod with a spincast reel and 6lb line pre-spooled. The reel is ok for a $10 rod combo, it's not quite smooth and has some inherent drag that you feel. I bought it for my 2 year old as her first rod and it fits her size well. She is able to turn the reel handle with a little bit of effort. For an adult looking for a decent compact rod you may want to buy a small rod and spincast reel separately. If you just want a $10 panfish rod for the trunk, or a small rod for a toddler that will last a year or two, this will work just fine.
