Rechargeable Battery for HERO4 Black/HERO4 Silver (GoPro Official Accessory)

If you like the performance of the OEM GoPro battery then this will work for you. I don’t really like to use cheap knock off batteries in my electronics. Chances are they are all made in the same factory overseas, but if one leaks I can at least tell go pro that I was using the battery they intended to be used. I have had warranty claims be denied before because I used a knock off battery. That being said these batteries are real ones and the performance is the same as the original battery that came with my GoPro. The price was better than I could find in the stores too. I saved $5 per battery by going through Amazon. So if you like to buy OEM batteries for your GoPro, this is the place I would recommend getting them from.

I use there batteries frequently, and they have held-up really well for over a year now.

This is a 5-Star review because I am rating the battery, not my experience... I had bought a GoPro Hero 4 Black combo pack which included the GoPro, 32gb micro SD, extra GoPro brand battery, GoPro brand 3-way selfi stick and a GoPro brand head strap. Everything looked perfect when it arrived, until I inspected the included extra battery. Come to find out, it was a battery for a Hero 3, not the Hero 4 which I ordered. This may sound like a common mistake by Amazon or whatnot, but what makes this interesting was the Hero 3 battery was in a SEALED Hero 4 packaging... I know this because Hero 4 battery packaging says on the front "Hero 4 Accessory". But there was a GPH3 battery inside... Didn't make me upset at all, I was actually quite puzzled... Of course, Amazon had the correct battery at my door step the very next day before I could even return the other one. Just thought I would share my story. Great product. A little expensive due to GP brand name, but I would rather use GP accessories:-)

Factory GoPro battery - works as expected. After looking at some aftermarket suppliers, the differences kept me coming back to the GoPro brand - where the pull tab is on the battery makes it easier to get out of the GoPro camera, the power supplied from the battery is made for the camera (some of the aftermarket batteries have varying power levels), and comparatively I didn't find them to be that expensive when looking at the total cost of accessories and the camera itself - to know it won't swell and get stuck or some other mishap, I made the choice to stick with the brand on this one.

I bought this battery as I didn't know the dual charger already included an extra battery, however, as the gopro runs out of battery extremely fast you'll never have enough of these little ones, I live in Mexico and all the goPro accessories are really expensive here, I can't believe I can buy a rechargable goPro battery for almost 18 dollars so, it is a good price for a good product that you definitely need if you are a goPro owner.

I bought an extra for a canoeing day trip. My only regret was that I didn't get another one. Because it's GoPro branded and not aftermarket, I didn't have to worry about it not fitting or something and being stuck without a warranty. Now, I normally use a USB power bank with my GoPro rig, but I also usually don't have to keep things waterproof in those cases. Knowing what I know now, I would have bought the pack from GoPro that includes the double battery charger and had one of my batteries charging while the other is in use.

I don't trust other brands as far as gopro batteries go, I have had a bad experience with other brands so I stick with the OEM (not holding a charge, less battery life, etc). These are a lot cheaper on amazon than buying it elsewhere. I was a bit worried about ordering these batteries online because I know there are alot of fakes on amazon, but these are indeed OEM and packaged how you will get it at the factory. I charged these right up and tested and they work fine. I love the hero4 silver because I can always have extra batteries on hand to film an epic adventure that will last me all day. I have 4 batteries on hand and will probably order 1 more.

As good as the original. But of course, everyone who has used a GoPro4 must know that the battery life is nothing much to boast of anyway! And that makes it kind of necessary to have one or two extra ones!

Prodotto originale ad un costo accettabile vista la qualità. uso le "classiche" compatibili (chili, patona, ecc) su molti dei miei apparati elettronici ma su una gopro, con questo prezzo e con l'autonomia già al limite, nessuna di quelle provate ha retto il confronto. Con le batterie la qualità delle celle fa la differenza, se in prodotti equivalente costa meno della metà, i compromessi sono necessariamente molti (se non subito, sicuramente nel tempo).

Die Akkulaufzeit ist gut, und die Installation ist einfach. Als offizielles GoPro-Zubehör bietet er die gleiche Qualität wie das Original. Sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung und dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!
