Oh my gosh, I absolutely love these. I did not know they made a 2 gallon size storage jar. It is huge, but I like the fact that it’s tall and skinny rather than short and fat. It will take up a lot less room in my cupboard and I absolutely love the metal handle and it has the good silicone Ring inserts that stay where they are supposed to with the little tab to pull them out. They seem to be very heavy duty. They came in a Styrofoam insert inside of a box so very well packaged no chips or breaks as a matter of fact, the Amazon guy happened to drop one when he was putting it down and I was concerned that it may have broke, but everything was good. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about these jars. I am just so impressed. I am so tired of all the plastic containers, causing my dry food to taste funny my older plastic containers that were made 20-30 years ago never did that so I am hoping that by using glass containers and taking food out of their original packaging will help alleviate this situation. I know that even my boxed food often ends up tasting funny and I think it has a lot to do with the packaging or possibly how it’s been stored at the plants and stores. It just didn’t used to be that way who knows what they’re putting in our crap now a days. But my plan is to use these giant 2 gallon glass jars to put my long spaghetti noodles in and the over abundance of lasagna noodles that I accidentally bought. But they would be perfect for sugar and flour. They have a good airtight seal. I think that the food would stay fresh and having the handle on it would be easy to lug them around. I will probably mainly use all of the new glass jars that I have purchased for my noodles, beans and rice

This jar arrived quickly, it was the jar that I expected/hoped for and it arrived UNBROKEN!!!! A 16" high glass jar is taller than you'd think even with reality SO MEASURE VERY CAREFULLY. My jar fit the shelves with just a cat's whisker to spare. I will be returning it to him. The glass NOT THIN. BUT IT IS GLASS AND WILL PERFORM ACCORDINGLY. You might think that it's too much money for a glass jar. Well, it's nowhere near too much money for a huge, well manufactured and nicely designed glass jar that arrives intact. What's in mine?, which is in my kitchen: every brush, tweezers, larding needle, thin metal rod and you name it that won't fit into the jars which are 12" or less in height. I might be buying a second/third jar for some of my long pastas too! You'll use it! Enjoy!

I bought this jar to make apple cider vinegar. It’s big, sturdy, looks great, comes with a handle to carry it, and it has a lid. It’s a great product. Awesome to use with product from your farm, animals or garden. I recommend it!

I use a large jar to ferment chicken feed for my flock of 30. I've tried many jars, and they all either weren't large enough, or cracked. This jar has been the perfect answer. It's super durable and plenty big.

Very well made. Heavy. I got this for dogs food. It holds 2 small bags perfectly. The opening is wide enough to get my measuring cup into it. The lid screws on tightly. It's so nice to be able to see through it. It arrived well packaged with Styrofoam all around it.

Great jars …very large to store a good amount of what you need to store away…lid is great the handle is a plus but could be connected better but it’s a great product

This is a very thick glass jar, sturdy and a great size. I use this for storing rice and wanted it to be taller with a smaller base size to fit in a certain location. Easy to wash, and has many uses. I also would use for laundry pods, you can fit a hand in to get the pods out. Will be getting 2 more.

I’m really impressed. Large opening, heavy glass. I have 2 of these , one holds sugar, one holds flour. I’ve put them on the sides of my lazy Susan and they fit perfectly. I wish I needed more. Would definately recommend this.

Love this jar. Holds 5lbs of flour. It is airtight and the handle is so convenient. I purchased 2 to hold one 10lb bag of flour. Top of jar is large enough to scoop flour out. Very happy with the quality.
