Perfect!!!!!!!
I use natural grains on a daily basis to bake and improve the health of my family. I needed to store them in a pretty way to go on the shelf in my dining area but also functional for daily use. These are amazing. I have already ordered 3 sets and will probably order more. They are sturdy. The glass is thick and beautiful. The lids fit well and have a silicone seal for an air tight lid. The handle is actually functional so they are easy to pull off the shelf and carry. They showcase my beautiful grains so well. I love the 1.5 gallon capacity! They are a very high quality product for the money. They washed up well in the dishwasher prior to use. Very happy!!!

Awesome absolutely awesome product
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love these. I did not know they made a 1 & 1/2 gallon size storage jar. So not only did I buy these 1 & 1/2 gallon but I also bought the 2 gallons so glad I did. I wish they had a 1 gallon from the same company because I love these handles,, but I could not find one. I absolutely love the metal handle and it has the good silicone Ring inserts that stay where they are supposed to with the little tab to pull them out. They seem to be very heavy duty. They came in a Styrofoam insert inside of a box so very well packaged no chips or breaks as a matter of fact, the Amazon guy happened to drop one when he was putting it down and I was concerned that it may have broke, but everything was good. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about these jars. I am just so impressed. I am so tired of all the plastic containers, causing my dry food to taste funny my older plastic containers that were made 20-30 years ago never did that so I am hoping that by using glass containers and taking food out of their original packaging will help alleviate this situation. I know that even my boxed food often ends up tasting funny and I think it has a lot to do with the packaging or possibly how it’s been stored at the plants and stores. It just didn’t used to be that way who knows what they’re putting in our crap now a days. But my plan is to use the giant 2 gallon glass jars to put my long spaghetti noodles in and the over abundance of lasagna noodles that I accidentally bought. But they would be perfect for sugar and flour. The 1 & 1/2 gallon will be perfect for the other smaller noodles. Excellent for rice. Excellent for beans you can fit quite a bit in these They have a good airtight seal. I think that the food would stay fresh and having the handle on it would be easy to lug them around. I will probably mainly use all of the new glass jars that I have purchased for my noodles, beans and rice. They are super easy to clean. I was able to do a quick hand wash then throw them in the dishwasher except the 2 gallons jars were just a hair bit too tall so they couldn’t go in the dishwasher. But the lids washed fine in the dishwasher no warping and the gaskets didn’t fall out overall I highly recommend this product and will probably buy more again.

Easy Travel Drink Jars
I got these for my get together with family and friends to make easy drinks. I serve with a ladle, and these are so functional as they are durable and easy to travel with. I love making fresh batches of tea, so the thickness of these jars is fantastic. They are the perfect size, drop your tea bags in, pour in hot water and I already know these will last for years to come. The lid is quality, and the handles are great. I was worried for how heavy these jars are, but the handles are a super plus to carry around. I would buy these again. Great value.

Perfect glass jars
Ordered this product on Thanksgiving night to store my extra beef tallow. Came in about two days and it works beautifully. I would highly recommend these glass jars. Nice added feature is the handle.

Very good quality!
Exactly as described, they are what I was looking for. Easy to fit my hand inside (keeping cat food in one), the lid seals easily. They are thicker than I expected, nice heavy glass, good quality.

Perfect for Vanilla Extract large volume and/or mother jars, keep the box for jar storage!
We are using these for a large volume of vanilla extract in progress. The lids have gaskets that seal well. We have 40 ounces of vanilla beans in each jar, plus 144 ounces of vodka. We weigh the beans and measure the booze to make a double-fold, or double-strength extract. For double-fold, we calculate TWO ounces of beans per one cup (8 ounces) of alcohol. So for 40 ounces of beans, we would use 160 ounces of alcohol. We chose to use 144 ounces so there was a bit of room for the beans to swim without the jar filled to the very top. These batches are a generous double-fold, and there is adequate room for this volume. We will check the jars in a week or two, and may add more vodka to reach the calculated 160 ounces of vodka, since the beans will absorb the alcohol and we’ll have a little more space in the jar. These jars are tall enough that the beans can be fully covered by the alcohol, for best extraction results. The wide mouth means it’s easy to fill, plenty of room for your hand to reach in to place or arrange your beans. The handles are, well, handy, and feel secure. We place the filled jars back in the box they were shipped in, since the box is nicely lined with form-fitting foam the jars nest in. No worries about a full glass jar slipping to disaster and vanilla extract tragedy. These jars will now sit for a couple of years as we let time work its magic. We have no worries about alcohol evaporating or leaking from our extract, with these secure and functional jars. There is also plenty of room on the lid and on the sides of the jars for labels. We label both the lid and the side of each jar with the details of beans and booze. (It would be easy to swap lids by mistake, so we always label the jar itself, too.) Date started, amount and type of beans, and amount and type of alcohol are on each. Then we can mark the box on the outside with our batch number and date, for quick reference.

Love this product!!! We live in a small home with a very tiny kitchen. We wanted to maximize cupboard space, while managing to see all of the items on our shelves. we did not love the metal carrying handles for our very small kitchen, but can see benefit of them in larger kitchens or if you pantry is a distance. If you don't love the handles, they are easy to remove. The glass jars allow us to easily recognize the items we may need, but also when we need to top up the jar or add that product to the grocery list. We also find that our dry goods: cereal, flour, sugar, etc., tend to stay much fresher in the glass jars then in their grocery store packaging. Highly recommend.

If you need a big glass jar, this is a big glass jar. Seals well enough for dry goods.
