To best of my knowledge ... this provides support for standard Prayer and Salah as per Shriah standards. Not sure if Shia has any different prayer. This provides support for multiple languages Hope this helps.

Yes it works with disposable batteries. The product cannot be charged, however you can use rechargeable batteries if you have a separate charger.
