I purchased this in hopes that it'd be a sufficient cover for what apparently is a typical splitting on the center console. Honestly, I was surprised the original was vinyl to start with, and I wasn't sure how this would look - let alone how it'd install. The piece arrived and slipped over well, providing ample margins all around (you'll need to trim some). I actually left the factory piece completely intact and just went over it to retain the foam (mine was one piece) instead of removing it. Fitment wasn't difficult, though it'll help if you keep the original to reference relief lines, especially around the handle (it took some effort to keep it smooth, but if you've recovered a dining chair before, you can do this). The factory finish is a bit dull, but a quick wipe with standard car interior detailer had it looking nearly original. The double stitch is a nice touch, and I actually think it looks better than factory. The dual layer has extra give, and I was careful not to over stretch it in hopes it'll prevent future cracking. One note: Use thin staples if you staple it in. The standard ones I've used to redo furniture are a bit too thick, though...in all honesty, I think MOST of the piece will be held by the other components. Will see how it lasts long term, but for just over $20, it's worth it and a huge relief to fix a wear spot that bothered me! Definitely recommend.

I have a 2018 Yukon Denali and this fits the center console perfectly! Love that it looks so nice and is a comfortable addition to the armrest as well. The quilted pattern gives it an extra nice touch. My interior is the two tone beige and dark brown, and the dark brown cover matches the dark brown details in my car perfectly. Plus it brings the two tone effect to the center console as well!
