Not a drinker but perfect for Christmas present

There are now loads of Irish whiskies available in a similar price bracket and some of them are absolutely fantastic (think Sexton, Sloane, etc) but, as a daily drinker Jameson has no equal in my book. It’s always consistent with no nasty surprises. It’s smooth and mellow with no funky flavours and can be drunk neat or on the rocks. On the days I don’t fancy a single malt or a bourbon, Jameson’s is my number one go-to whiskey. If you’ve got someone who says “I don’t like whisky,” there are 3 that I feel would change their mind 1) Glenfiddich (a bit pricey), 2) Jack Danniel’s (fantastic but different from the whiskies of these isles), and 3) Jameson’s (mellow, slightly sweet, and zero burn). In conclusion, I find Jameson’s to be my perfect, everyday Irish dram. There’s nothing special about it but neither is there anything bad. And, for anyone new to whiskey you should definitely put a bottle of this in your drinks cabinet.
