Excellent set from start to finish. Clear instructions, very good quality bricks (other than a bit of scuffing on tiles), and set looks great when built.

This is a very difficult kit but it turned out really well it was only missing 1 piece and they are very good at replacing parts

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looked challenging Build quality: Lots of parts were not very well attached. Easy to knock loose. Ease of assembly: Super challenging which was desired.

Very cool ship, but beware in assembly, as loath as I am to glue these, it is absolutely necessary in some phases of the assembly. The bowsprit and the masts do not fasten securely enough to withstand even the slightest movement. Some parts of the instructions are intuitive, as not every step is illustrated. But overall pretty cool but will test your patience. Good value, as a similar Lego is three times the price.

My grandson completed it in approximately 15 hours. It has numerous movable parts and when completed is beautiful. It is huge and the instructions I assume are easy enough to follow. This is the his second big Lego. He has the Big Boy Train and track.

Did not come with instructions. By the time it was open, it was too late to return/replace. Any master builders around that can help?

This will definitely keep you busy for awhile but can be a huge pain in the butt for a handful of pieces that dont really cling onto eachother

Viele Teile fürs Geld, sehr interessanter Aufbau, sieht toll aus, leider aber auch viele filigrane Teile die wärend des Zusammenbaues immer wieder abfallen, nichts für Grobmotoriker

Ich habe schon einige Bausätze von Mould King gebaut, überwiegend Technik mit Motoren und Häuser. Mit den Technik Modellen war ich sehr zufrieden, mit den Häusern ging es so. Aber mit dem Piratenschiff ist es ein einziger Horror. So ein schlechten Bausatz habe ich noch nie gehabt. Permanent fallen Teile ab. Mußte mir extra einen Modellkleber besorgen, damit es einigermaßen hält und passt. Im grundegenommen müßte man den Schrott zurücksenden und sein Geld zurück bekommen. Ein Tip : strengt euch ein bisschen mehr an Lego kann das besser.
