Lovely hornwort
Good quality plants. My order didn’t arrive the first time but Drew sorted a shipment asap to replace. Overall very happy with the size and mass of the plants

Plants ok and healthy
The plants arrived healthy, unfortunately one of the ceramic base holders was broken but was easily secured with tape.Linc's pond plants arrive in good condition and are healthy. I'd buy from this supplier again. The broken ceramic was a one off, I've had plants from them before and never any problems.

Clear pond water!
I’ve had so much trouble with my pond but one week after just chucking this in I have crystal clear water. Very impressed indeed.

Terrible !
Very small and packaged terribly. Pretty much dried and dead and just fell apart. Tried to revive but hopeless. Very disappointed in the product and especially the company and their description

Okay
Plants arrived quickly. More medium sized than large. Looked good until unpacked, they started falling apart. Some stems are still intact. Not really happy having to spend a couple of hours cleaning the mini menagerie off them. The scuds are fine, the fish will eat them, and I guess the handful of water slaters will deal with the leaves the plants have begun shedding…

Really healthy plant
I’ve bought hornwort from Amazon before and it’s just been a few straggly strands, which isn’t too much of an issue because it soon grows and you can easily cut it and grow more. This time it arrived full and bushy and in good health. Buy from this seller if you’re looking for hornwort imo.

Beautiful job
Update i do not 100 percent know if its just my aquarium or what but its been two mths and its grown so beautifully and ive separated it into three tanks. I can not express enough the benifits of this plant. I do not fertilize, i do not use chemicals in my tank except a declorinizer in my tap water to top off, i do not do water changes and rarely i mean like once in this time vacuum bottom. My water is perfect in twice weekly tests. Let it be known tho i have outside and inside plants but for the longest time this was the only inside one. Get some. Package was big compared to other plants I have received. Two nice sized bundles. Just went back seen they are out so may have gotten a end batch since one was pretty brown. I put right away in water with fertilizer and in light. This is less than 24hrs and bounce back has already been amazing. As you can see from Pic #2. The first pic was the healthier one even tho it got a good soak in same fertilizer I just now added it to my fish aquarium. So I'm extremely happy. So far I have seen no extra hitchhikers but I happily accept them. I kill them off if gets excessive but they do serve a bigger picture as eventually I pretty much want an ecosystem not aquarium.

Large and healthy!
These came well packaged and seem to be very healthy. One plant did have some brown so we’ll see how it does. They are large and will be perfect for my pea puffers when I get them. I have them in a 20 gallon high. Only thing is I wish I would have rinsed them before I put them in my tank, I’m not worried about pests because my puffers will eat those but these plants had a lot of shedding which is now laying at the bottom of my tank. Should be able to vacuum them up though. All in all very happy with this product

I do NOT recommend buying this!!! EDITED!
!EDITED!I received the hornwort within a few days. It was packed and insulated well but what I got was not what I paid for. It was not 2 large bunches but several strands and short loose pieces. It was mostly brown and yellow and what was green is now faded and quickly turning yellow...today is the 3rd day. It came with instructions for live animals (fish/snails) but nothing for how to deal with the plant. It did come with 2 small plant weights but I have absolutely no need for them as not a single piece of this floats! One would expect to have some loose needles but after I rinsed it, I scooped out more than a handful from the bottom of the bowl. I put it in my tank hoping that it was just the shock of shipping and transferring but there are needles basically flying all throughout my tank. There has only been drastic decline in condition with absolutley no improvement. I already have a thriving carpet of plants in the tank so it's not the conditions of my tank that is the issue. I plan to leave the hornwort in the tank until all hope is lost which is probably just a few days. I will have to do a major clean up regardless since it has already dirtied my tank with decaying needles but I really want the plant(s) to recover and thrive so I will wait. I took a chance after reading some of the negative reviews and I regret that I did. It just seemed that the newer reviews were better. Of course after I purchased and received this blob of dying foliage, I'm seeing reviews posted within the last few days describing my exact situation! Not only that but now I'm worried I will have a snail outbreak on top of it. I wasted my hard earned money on this mess and it sickens me! I wish I had a store or nursery close to me that carried hornwort. If the seller has any type of customer service or pride in their product they will make this right and send me a new package of HEALTHY plants with proper instructions on care. Until then, there is no way I could recommend or give a good review for this.If the plant(s) recover and turn healthy, I will update the review, but don't hold your breath.EDIT:So, some of the plants surprisingly survived and are growing but now I have snails. There don't seem to be many and I don't know what kind they are. At this time, I don't think they are causing any problems but if I wanted snails I would have chosen the pretty kind! I would have added a star since some of the plant revived but I didn't want snails.

Arrived very healthy BUT READ THIS BEFORE PUTTING IN YOUR AQUARIUM!
First off, I would like to say Aquatic Arts has never let me down, every order is fantastic & quick delivery. That being said, the hornwort came in great condition. At little swamp smell, but that is to be expected, stagnant pond water without oxygen in warm weather (purchased in July) traveling across country in the heat of summer. The smell isn't what bothered me, hornwort is NOT an AQUARIUM PLANT! I ignored reviews & regret it. Hornwort, as most aquatic plants, will "melt" when first introduced to your aquarium/pond. They halfway die while adjusting. Adding live plants to your aquascape takes time for die off & new growth. Once you get thru the adjusting phase, most plants then prosper. Hornwort will drop all of its "needles" and leave your aquarium wrecked. If you've ever had an actual live Christmas tree for the season & have seen the mess it can leave behind if left unwatered, with all the pine needles clogging up your vacuum for months on end. HORNWORT WILL DO WORSE TO YOUR AQUARIUM! It has been over 2 months since I did a deep DEEP clean (without interrupting the nitrogen cycle) on my 120 community aquarium & 55 breeder while removing ALL hornwort & trying to dispose of all the dead needles laying on the substrate & clogging my large canister filters. It was a nightmare & after 2+ months I am still struggling with needles spontaneously showing up during vacs, water changes & any time I stir the substrate. I will never try Hornwort in an aquarium again. That being said, I also added hornwort to my outdoor pond that has variety of Koi, goldfish, ect. The hornwort flourished! I cannot believe how well & fast it grew! In 2 months it covered 75% of the surface of the pond, kept green algae in check & provided extra shade & protection to my beloved fish! I did notice a lot of "needles" during water changes in the pond, but the hornwort seemed to have less of a "melt" in the pond compared to in my aquariums. Now it is still dark green & healthy & it is halfway frozen with snow now coming down. Hornwort is AMAZING IN A POND, and just as horrible in an aquarium. If you ate purchasing for an outdoor pond plant, I couldn't recommend a better & easier plant. If your buying for an aquarium, you will be sorry. Hope this helps someone save the headache I had! Would like to give two thumbs up to Aquatic Arts, they are a great, reliable company & I have yet to receive a product I didn't love. Always fast shipping, healthy plants & great customer service! Hope this helps someone!

they sent me lots of extras and I couldn’t be happier with my order
My online shopping experience with Aquatic Arts has been nothing short of exceptional. I recently purchased and received the following:Ivory White Mystery Snails, CPO Dwarf Mexican Crayfish/Mini Lobsters, Blue Mystery Snails, Thai Micro Spider Crabs, Black/Purple Mystery Snails, Orange Giant Sulawesi Rabbit Snails, Baby Tears, Hairgrass, Cholla Wood, Moneywort, Dark Red Ludwigia, Green Cabomba, Hornwort, Anubias Barteri, Amazon Sword Plant and extra-large bunch of Hornwort.I will not go into each individual purchase as there are too many to go into each; however I will make some points on items I think are worth pointing out:First, Aquatic Arts is appreciative of customers and have a live arrival guarantee. Should any critters not make the journey, they compensate in advance by sending extras (not to mention they also give shipping discounts and provide coupon codes when certain dollar amounts are spent). I’m sure what and how many depends on the order, but I have seen on previous reviews that AA has done the same for them. As for me, they sent me lots of extras and I couldn’t be happier with my order. They were responsive when I emailed them and were willing to work with me when I requested to modify my order and best of all they were HONEST. When I asked they gave me an honest answer about tank mates not getting along so they weren’t concerned about the sale, but about the best interest of the critters and customer satisfaction. They tracked and showed concern about the delay in the package delivery (heavy Christmas traffic; bad timing on my part), but they were boxed to survive up to a week in the box if necessary- I will go into more detail later. In regards to the little critters, here are my reviews; the mystery snails are beautiful, bright and fun to look at. The rabbit snails however, are captivating and are difficult to take your eyes off of. Their shells are beautiful and they themselves are brightly colored. It’s interesting to watch them grazing peacefully around the aquarium. The CPO’s are my aquarium’s pride and joy. They are ADORABLE and perfectly sized for an aquarium with non-aggressive fish. I ordered three and received four and one of the females was pregnant! I love watching them wander around the aquarium grabbing at all the little bits under the gravel. As for the Micro Spider Crabs- the disclaimer “(FOR EXPERIENCED NANO AQUARISTS AND SHRIMP HOBBYISTS ONLY!)” is there for a reason! I have a 75 gallon and they are tiny! Probably about the size of a pencil eraser. If you’re really interested in these please make sure the aquarium is designed for something this small otherwise you’re probably not going to see them very often. I noticed some previous reviews made a complaint about this; I’d say it’s kind of like baby proofing a house, except you have to build your aquarium to accommodate these little creatures. All the plants I received came in great condition and made my aquarium look 10x’s better and livelier. The fish and critters love them too, I can’t wait to see them grown and fully established. I will note that the extra-large bunch of hornwort was EXTRA LARGE. A little much for my aquarium, but I have an outdoor pond so I put some of the hornwort in there as well.As far as the shipping, like I said my deliver was delayed due to heavy holiday mail. Otherwise it was sent two day expedited shipping through USPS. My large order came in a large box and within that box was a thick Styrofoam container. That container was full of recycled and recyclable cardboard-like insulation- perfect for cold weather so I like that much better than packing peanuts. The critters and plants themselves were in plastic baggies, much like the ones you get when you go to a pet store. The CPO’s and crabs had little bunches of java moss in them to make the trip more comfortable. So as I stated above, this has been a great shopping experience. I very much look forward to shopping from Aquatic Arts in the future and I highly recommend them for their variety of aquatic creatures that most often can’t be found at your local pet store, their courtesy, honesty and professionalism.
