Excellent Time Clocks & Outstanding Customer Service!This is the second time clock I’ve purchased from this company, and once again, I’m extremely satisfied. Their time clocks are user-friendly and straightforward to set up—even for someone like me who isn’t tech-savvy. While I initially found the setup a bit challenging, the company’s outstanding customer support has always made the process smooth.Today, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Joseph, a fantastic representative who walked me through every step with patience and expertise. His help was invaluable, and I truly appreciate his dedication to ensuring everything worked perfectly.The level of customer service this company provides is exceptional, and it’s one of the many reasons I continue to trust their products. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ACTUALLY
Don't buy this if you intend to keep track of employee work hour / timecard simple (buy the ngteco non-cloud versions instead, those are actual complete and usable product).This is NOT really a device for small business unless the business has strict enforcement on shifts.-It is missing critical features when compared to the non cloud older models.-Synchronization between the attendance and timecard broken at the time this post is written. (9/29/24).For one reason or another, the development of the web/mobile app feels rushed/incomplete. You can't edit anything related to the punches. You can create punches, timesheet, shift schedule, but you can't edit any of them. It feels like they never talked to any small business owner on what they actually need, and never bothered to look at what features the older models has, which has pretty much all the basic/critical features covered.Pro:- multiple device management- organization management (person/department/site/time zone)- good cloud update, punches are instantly reflected in the webpage- you can manage user and devices from web page/mobile device- can setup automatic email report at daily/weekly/month frequency ( BUT NO BIWEEKLY)- responsive/clean UICon:- device needs to connect to internet, you can only access/manage records from mobile/webpage (older model can be managed via device screen/mobile)- you must add user, add timesheet, assign user to timesheet (aka setup shift), assign to device, before they can clock in. small business using only 1 device don't need this kind of complication. If you mess up, good luck having them show up in the timecard.- can't delete/modify punch- timecard management is buggy, punch doesn't always show up, date selection doesn't work properly either- timecard doesn't always synchronize after attendance punch is updated

Works well
The timeclock works well, easy to enter new staff, facial recognition works every time but the attendance software is not as good as the Time and Attendance clock we had previously. I did not go with them because I wanted the facial recognition. The prior machine had an actual attendance report for each employee and I entered the start date of the payroll and never entered a date again - this program sends all of the data to excel for you to sort and filter yourself. I preferred for it to be done for me. The instruction for setting up the time clock was easy but setting up the timesheet, schedules and shift was difficult with little instruction - One saving grace is their fabulous support team - I have spoken to several in the past 2 months, most recently Joseph, he was pleasant, knowledgable and sooo helpful!

Customer Service
We bought this machine as a recommendation from Ray to access the remote feature since the first one we bought didn't have it. We had to return the first machine in order to get the refund and then purchase this one. Ray gave a fantastic customer service and made sure we got the right refund. The machine is very easy to setup using the NGteco website.

Huge Disappointment
The system is very difficult to set up. You setup your organization, sites, zones, departments, then add the user, add a timesheet, then assign the user to the timesheet, and assign the user to the device before the employee can clock in. This must be done for each “shift” your employees have. If you have a typo, and already saved the information, you must start all over again.The time clock is pretty much plug n play. However, it does not stay connected to the network. You must be on the same network as the timeclock to register your employees. I also found it difficult to create an admin user for security reasons. By default, employees have access to the time clock settings, employee management, and attendance records unless an admin user is created. There are not clear steps on how to create this admin user account.There is only one report that you can export for payroll, and it cannot be filtered out by employee, site, zone, or department. It is difficult to see the total hours worked by each department/zone/site.If you are looking for a time and attendance system for your small business I would recommend investing in another product. It is not user friendly and takes too long to get up and running for payroll.
