Its not completely sturdy 😔
The bunkbed the base is all hardwood very solid love that, here’s the big problem: the wood where you put the mattress on it its like a three ply, not sturdy whatsoever as soon as you press down on it it starts to crack its very thin sheet wood. My number one concern is the safety for my girls and there’s nothing more that goes on it but the mattress itself so the mattresses placed will barely hold its weight little less with the weight of the kids on it will definitely break through. We’re gonna have to get a layer of wood or something to reinforce because those little wood sticks that go in between the bed are not solid whatsoever, very thin, not supportive at all !!! Im what disappointed ☹️
