Nice idea but very poor execution. The black lines / country names rub off when you wipe off the pen. Ok if your kid only wants to colour it in once, not much good otherwise.Seller was very helpful though and offered a full refund.

I have a photo to prove but I bought this for a 30th birthday pressie for my friend, she wiped it once and all the lettering came off! Really unimpressed...

Right out of the box, I used a dry erase marker that they sent with this globe to color in Ireland. Upon wiping the marker off, it also erased the country of Ireland. Don’t buy this “dry erase” globe unless you are interested in erasing the entire thing!! So cheap, and so cheap.

This listing says the globe is "erasable," but it is not! I used the pens that came with the globe and left the markings on for just a few minutes. When I went to erase the markings, they would not come off. I tried using a baby wipe to erase the markings, but that erased the supposedly permanent borders and country titles on the globe. Southeast Asia was completely obliterated! Do not buy this if you are looking for a globe to write on and erase.
