Comfortable and VERY Large
I am a large-framed man (6'2" tall and about 250 pounds), who loves to camp. Over the years, I've gone through lots of different camping chairs. Many have eventually broken, some have been too narrow for my body, some were just uncomfortably designed or tensioned, and some are so low to the ground that standing up is a challenge. No more! This WildRoots chair checks all the boxes:• It is HUGE, with lots of room on all sides to shift position and relax• It is comfortable, with a thickly-padded seat and backrest (more padding than I've ever enjoyed on a folding chair).• It is sturdy, constructed of 600-denier cotton oxford cloth, supported by extra-thick 19mm tubular steel sections. In fact, the chair is rated to support up to 600 pounds. One aspect I love about this chair's design is the versatility of its seating position. The back is only slightly tilted—reclined enough to be comfortable and relaxing, but not so much to preclude sitting at a table and eating off a plate. Two chairs in one! It also features two cup-holders, one in each arm rest. For me, that means an icy margarita at my right hand, and a refreshing Coke Zero at my left.Although padding can make any chair more comfortable, and provides insulation against cold nights, it can also contribute to overheating on hot afternoons. I mostly camp in the desert, so this is of particular concern. But no worries—the middle section of this chair is covered in a breathable mesh, which helps provide airflow and cooling in warm weather. The chair's oversized dimensions and weight capacity come with a couple downsides: First, the chair itself is heavy, weighing in at almost 12 pounds. Second, even when folded and stowed in its carry bag, the package is large: 41" tall with a 10" by 10" square base. For me, since I am exclusively car-camping, this size and weight is acceptable, but still something to bear in mind. All in all, I am very happy with this chair. It meets my needs perfectly, and better than any of its predecessors. I am pleased to recommend it for your use.

This thing is HUGE and comfy!
First off, it's heavy as heck for a packed chair. I wouldn't want to carry this beast down a trail to the riverside and I certainly wouldn't want to carry back up the trail, either! For us, we're using it at the kids soccer games and for outdoor events like the 4th. I'm 5'8' and 240lbs and the traditional one-size-fits-most pack chairs are a bit snug for me to sit comfortably for extended periods of time (soccer games are over an hour!). So I grabbed this XXL chair thinking this would solve my issue. Well, it did and than then some. I can actually fit myself and one of the kiddos on the chair with my, comfortably. As for quality, this chair is very premium! From the framing, to the canvas, to the padding, to the bag, all premium materials with a premium build. I have little doubt this chair will last a very long time and keep it's integrity along the way.Next, the feel when sitting. You know when you're a little kid and you climb up on the grown chair? Feeties swinging freely off the ground, the armrests up to your pits, and the backrest seems a mile up? I kinda feel that way when sitting in this chair, but I feel it in the best possible way. It cradles me like mama used to and gives me a memorable feeling of comfort and safety. So, what else sucks about this chair aside from the weight? Storage. When packed up in the carry bag it takes up as much room as our portable canopy, no joke, same amount of square inches. Other than those two things, this chair is fit for a king and highly recommended. Oh! And if you've got some girth to ya, this chair should do the trick and finally give those love handles some breathing room and keep them off of the armrests!

Parades just got more comfortable!
I picked this up to add to our collection of folding chairs. Now that the kids are getting older, they want to sit during parades. With me (~200 pounds) and one of the kids on a normal camping chair, I'm always worried we're going to break it. This one is so heavy duty and comfortable that I can easily have both kids sit with me comfortably without worry. It doesn't seem much bigger than a normal chair when carrying it, but it's dramatically more comfortable when it's unfolded. Definitely a must for regular campers or moms with children constantly crawling on their lap.

Roomy, stable, and nice padding for back support
The chair is nicely padded and contours to my back. The back of the chair is tall enough to support my head when I fully sink down into the chair. I used the chair initially for a pollinator census, so I was moving a bit from side to side in the chair to observe bees on flowers, while still sitting. The chair was very stable. The tab that covers the metal bars is so useful and prevents rubbing or pinching. I was able to easily pack up the chair and return it to the carrying bag. The only drawback to the chair design is the cupholders. They aren't modernized to fit most water bottle. The narrow tall ones tip over, the standard insulated travel mugs don't fit in the holder rim. The holders need to be wider and deeper. My drinks kept tipping over and I had to put the one on the ground. I wish the chair had a pocket for devices and field guides. The frame is very durable and able to sustain a good about of weight.
