Great Yerba strong effects and tastes nice...especially if you like that hint of smokiness to your Mate...price is slightly on the expensive side though

Apart from the dubious fact of its price increase every time I go to buy this... it’s amazing, by far my favourite Maté after years of Kraus and Cruz De Malta.It takes a different process to prepare than the ones I mentioned because it’s so fine and powdery but it’s not a problem at all if done right, I enjoy it and the flavour that lasts so much longer than other brands I’ve tried.

Very good tea

Unfortunately this product has been milled to quite a fine dusty texture. I'm used to mate that has a coarser, more leafy texture. The flavour is ok, but not the best I have had will not purchase this again on account of its powderyness. Weirdly I read another review saying the same thing about it being 'overmilled', and honestly thought it wouldnt make any difference, but it does. Its quite a large quantity to buy, and fairly expensive if you are not going to thoroughly enjoy it.

Great Yerba Mate, I've moved from drinking (too much) coffee to drinking (large quantities of) this which is less aggressive than coffee whilst still stronger than tea. It doesn't have the "crash-effect" that coffee can have too (at least for me) where you get kicked awake for some time then crash down lower than you were before your first cup.Re milling and other reviews, I personally didn't mind it. I don't use the traditional mate set though, I go for a fine tea strainer in a teapot. The end of a teapot does have a powdery residual in it though but I don't mind. I've tried other brands sold on amazon and preferred the taste of this one which is dry and a bit bitter (stronger than green tea) and maybe less "flowery" than other brands (which I personally prefer).

Awful. Stale, old flavour. It almost doesn't even taste like yerbe mate.Very fine chop, almost all powder. Blocks the perforated straw, hard to drink.Yeah, basically this is rubbish.

I have been drinking Mate since more than 20 years and I found this one the best between its kind because first, a good taste. second, it is a high-quality Mate, it is only leaves and no stems at all. another point, it lasts long before losing its taste, but the water should never be boiled.
