Large easy to read display and quick to inflate
Price when reviewed: £ 25.99.This wrist blood pressure monitor was supplied with USB-C charging cable, hard plastic storage box, and an instruction leaflet. Wrist blood pressure monitors are handy when you don’t want to slide your arm out of any sleeves you may be wearing.Setting up and using for the first time is easy, just charge the unit from any of the usual USB ports, put on your wrist, switch on, tap the bottom of the touch screen, and follow the spoken instructions. The cuff inflates very quickly compared with other blood pressure monitors I’ve ever used. After the measurement is taken the monitor then speaks your results. The display is large and easy to read. There is a memory button to scroll back through up to 99 previous readings for each of 2 users. The instruction leaflet is very comprehensive and covers just about everything you’ll ever need to know to correctly interpret your results. It’s just a pity the font used is too small for me. I just need a QR code to a PDF manual.Overall, this is a good BP monitor with clear spoken instructions and results. The voice can be turned off if required. The hard case is a bonus that will protect the monitor between reading.

Smart, stylish and easy-to-use ...BUT consistently read too high
I have to regularly check my Blood Pressure and have recorded my everyday results for a couple of years now - and I have used monitors from three different, well-known, manufacturers during that period. This wrist monitor appealed to me because of its ease of fitting, the large clear display and, being more compact, would be easier for me to pack-away and store. The monitor arrived neatly boxed, with a hard-shell storage case, a short charging lead and a comprehensive User Manual. In use, I found the monitor was quick to initially charge-up and it was easy to fit onto my wrist and to turn it on. The monitor comes with a double memory (2 x 99 results) - allowing it to usefully record BP readings for two people. It also has a voice 'welcome' and broadcasts results built into its operating system...! My test readings took around 45-50 seconds each time and were a straightforward procedure to obtain. However.... this machine produced results which were around 15% higher than my normal range of readings. At first I suspected that I was just not fitting or using the monitor correctly - but after a couple of days of these higher readings, I waited for a a suitable period of time before re-checking my BP with one of my other calibrated monitors. Each time, they produced a BP result which fell into the usual range of my previous testing. Although that was far from being a scientific test comparison, it does seem to me that the wrist monitor I received was either poorly-calibrated or my BP just does not respond to wrist measurement in the same was as when tested with a traditional upper-arm cuff.

Quite accurate and similar to upper arm monitors
So I tested this alongside an upper arm blood pressure monitor and was happy to see very similar results.I tried it amongst the family and again saw consistent results so am happy that this wrist monitor is reliable.I like the fact that this is rechargeable and doesn't require batteries and a battery indicator is featured on the touch screen so you'll know when to stick it on charge. The monitor gives some good feedback that is easy to understand from the actual talking function of it which also tells you if your BP is too high or low etc and coloured indication from red for severe BP, orange for mildly high and regular BP which is green. Each colour has a couple of increments so indicates whether you're on the lower or higher side of normal, raised or high. The cuff fits snuggly around most wrist sizes from children through to adults and BP is measured within a minute. This monitor actually inflates and deflates just like the upper arm ones as well except this inflates through the wrist cuff.In addition to BP your pulse is also shown. The touch screen is basically to turn the monitor on and there is a physical switch on the side to turn it on (and into standby) or off. Theres also a couple of push buttons for settings/user and memory recall so you can see up to 99 previous readings making it easier for you to submit these to a doctor if required. My only negative is the touch screen on/off bit needs to be clearly shown by way of a logo or something similar to show you where the actual button is lol. That's why I've deducted a star or I'd have given this 5 stars. The monitor arrives with charging cable (with the monitor partially charged) and a hard shell carry case to keep it safe when stored away.I love the way the monitor initially tells you instructions before taking the reading in clear, concise English such as relaxing and keeping the monitor level with your heart and then reads your BP and pulse out to you. A good idea for those who are visually challenged, impaired sight or blind. The price is extremely good which at just under £26 at time of review is great value and it's pretty reliable. This is a good gadget and I'd have no problem relying upon the readings.
