Looks like new, SMART info comes back positive
I bought 3 of these renewed 16TB Ironwolf Pro drives for use in my NAS.At £160/each, the pricing is very attractive and I was expecting a second hand product however each disk arrived well packaged and factory sealed in an anti-static bag. Physically the drive looks brand new and running smartctl show zero defects and 1hr of power on time. This does suggest these drives are unused. When checking on the official Seagate warranty status however, these show as 'N/A, contact reseller'. I suspect these are unused drives from old stock but can't verify that. I expect the drive has the standard 1yr warranty under consumer law only.For nearly 50% cheaper than 'new' drives though this is more than acceptable and I would buy these drives again from in a heartbeat.

Absolutely worth it
Arrived very well packaged and it had 0 hours of running time. Performs very well, as expected. Only downside is the noise but that was expected. Would most definitely buy again.

Ordered 2 16tb Drives.Both with 0 Ontime 0 Power ons, both perform as expected. very good

Amazing product for the price
I've only installed this recently and it's fantastic for it's price. The only issue I have with it is that it's very loud sometimes even when not being used but I think this is a common thing with HDDs anyway. Overall very happy!
