Cool Area Rectangular Shade Sail Awning 2.5 x 3 m HDPE Breathable UV Protection, Suitable for Patio Garden, Outdoor Terrace, Anthracite

I wanted this to provide a bit of shelter over my garage door when I’m brewing outside. It seems a sturdy bit of kit. The edges are all sewn and the corner anchors are substantial. I thought I could just hook it up to some existing rings or hooks but it’s so substantial that it catches the wind and needs proper mounting points. It’s such a decent bit of kit that it’ll be worth doing that.

I didn't realise that it wasn't water tight, I was hoping for a rain shade as much as a sun shade but rain just comes straight through. Well made and strong so I can imagine it will last a long time.

Bought to provide shade to our living room from strong afternoon sun. This was perfect size and is perfect for us. It is water permeable so it doesn’t collect rainwater as stated. It easily withstands pretty strong winds so can be left in place. Once it is fitted it is quick and easy to put up and take down if you wish.

Great product and just what we needed for some shade over the kids swings. Very easy to put up (I did it on my own in about half an hour) and looks great too. It’s also made my daughter happier as she has a fear of birds so feels safer under this canopy. Really recommend.

Quality seems good from first 2 days use. Stainless D rings welded and smooth. Stitched seams look solid all the lengths, main gripe is the size. Wanted something 3x4x5m but couldn’t find one with suitable delivery times. This said 3.5x3.5x4.9m which seemed close enough. When fully tensioned it measures 3x3x4.2m (see photos). Probably keep as it casts an ok shadow but needed climbing rope to extend the ends to reach the walls for mounting.

Excellent quality and service, really pleased, quality material and well made, grey in colour with silver lurex flex in material, lovely sun shade, one thing when you buy also buy four turnbuckle hooks and four eyes too hold canopy.

Nothing to dislike as it's a great product for the price. Would have liked it to have been waterproof but, as the seller says it's only ’weatherproof’. Don't forget the shade does not come with the fixing hooks and eyes. It does comes with some rope which I replaced with a thicker and more durable type (from B&Q).

These sails are good quality and strong. I left them out in 50mph+ winds and they remained as good as new. They do vary (slightly) in size but that's being picky. They should last a few summer seasons.

Las dimensiones justas y perfectas. Medimos la zona donde se iva a instalar y la verdad es que ha resultado ideal. El grosor el adecuado, la sombra estupenda, permeable lo cual hace que sea más duradero, el color bien, algo más naranja que la foto. Viene sin sistema de anclaje aunque si con anillas de fijación bien reforzadas. Muy contentos con el producto y su servicio va a ser de lo más gratificante jejeje

Calidad-precio estupendos

Ho preso la prima vela circa 2 anni fa per una prova....poi ne ho acquistata un'altra e un'altra ancora! Praticamente mi è uscito un mezzo campeggio casalingo! Tutto è nato dall'esigenza di avere un pò d'ombra in estate e un minimo di riparo per l'inverno. Non avendo possibilità di installare altro tipo di manufatti per via delle autorizzazioni comunali etc...sono arrivato a fare ciò che si può vedere. Allora, il prodotto è estremamente robusto, abito in una zona dove ci sono le pale eoliche e il vento non manca di certo! Ma ancorate in modo idoneo, non fanno una piega! Essendo traspiranti fanno passare aria evitando così di gonfiarsi e quindi creare tensioni. Lo stesso vale per il discorso impermeabilizzazione, la trama permette di drenare l'acqua in eccesso e con una giusta pendenza difficilmente si verifica il ristagno dell'acqua. Gli anelli posti all'angolo sono in acciaio inox, fissati con fettuccia a doppia cucitura ben fatta e resistente. Prendete bene le misure senza esagerare, perché per metterle bene in tensione bisogna considerare (minimo) almeno 20 cm in più ad angolo. Nel mio caso ho optato per catena, moschettoni e tenditori nautici da 8mm (per evitare ruggine e consentire una maggiore durata) In caso di neve, smontate tutto immediatamente!!! Molto soddisfatto, prodotto consigliato 👍

Conocía el material, lo llevo usando varios años y es ideal para rebajar la acción del sol.
