Thin, but absorbent. I was worried about getting dried off with one towel, but I was able to dry my body and hair. I bought them for use in my RV, but I bought more off the company website during a sale with free shipping and I use them in my bathroom, too. The towels dry quickly, without odor or discoloration, and wash well. I don't care for the fringe, but you can buy two bath towels and hand towels with fringe for the cost of two fringeless towels. White was not a color choice, so I purchased ivory and they go well with the white in my bathroom - not too yellow- or cream-toned. I bought some to use at my spa and they seem to handle the chlorine very well.

I really have never understood thick towels that are like rubbing a poodle all over your body. Turkish towels are so much better, and Sand Cloud's versions are just right.

So this is my initial review. I will keep using and see if it gets better. 1) I showered last night and again this morning. The towel was still wet this morning. I expected it to be dry 10 hours later since the ads make it sound like it would be. That was one of the big reasons I decided to try these towels. I usually use a thick towel and it's damp sometimes when I use it again. I thought these thin towels would be better. No, it seemed wetter since they aren't as thick. 2) the size is good. The color is good. 3) The verdict is still out on the thin towel. I am used to thick, plush towels. This is VERY different. Not bad, just different. I'm going to keep using and see how it goes.
