Gold Medal Sweet Glaze Popcorn Seasoning 794g

I was unsure about buying this for my popcorn machine as there's mixed reviews, however, the product turned out to be excellent value for money! I have an Andrew James popcorn machine that I purchased on Amazon; I used the gold medal glaze. You just start out as normal so a small cap of oil into the hot machine, add a large spoon of corn and then I simply added about a teaspoon and a half of the glaze. It gets a lovely coating to it and tastes great! The packet and other people have said to use a lot but I've been using mine pretty much every day for a couple of weeks and hardly used any... treat it as you would sugar in your tea or your breakfast ceral you really don't need much!

I thought I'd try this, as love sweet popcorn. It works well with my new popcorn maker and found it tastes best when used with coconut oil. Normal oil doesn't work well, I tried it and the popcorn tasted a bit burnt and flavourless.Also depends on how you use the product, if done in a pan, it may work ok.It does look and taste like normal sugar, so not sure I would buy it again, as white sugar is much cheaper and does the same thing. Otherwise, it's OK and taste nice when made correctly.

Works perfectly if you time it right.Don't add it immediately as it'll burn but, if you add it once the corn starts to pop and keep moving the corn and oil, it'll come out fine, glazed and unburnt.

Mmm I’m not overly happy with this product.When you cook it in the pan it seems to make everything burn and makes the popcorn smell of burn rather than sweet cinama popcorn and it’s no better than adding some sugar and a bit of salt.The butter brand is better but this I’m not really happy with or keen on and it’s very expensive for what it is, I’ll not be buying again.

After buying the Klarstein popcorn machine for my sons Christmas present he said that the popcorn tasted good but a bit boring and plain so after seeing this I ordered it, I was a bit worried it wouldn’t taste great after reading some of the reviews, i didn’t need to worry it’s fantastic my machine works by warming it for a two minutes then adding the oil and a scoop of corn I looked at the ratios and I basically put half a scoop of flavouring to a full scoop of corn it was gorgeous just like the cinema but better really nice taste not too sweet just right and no chemical taste very good and I will buy again although this will last for ages as it’s a good sized box, well worth the money you won’t regret this it makes boring popcorn brilliant popcorn.

It’s just low grade sugar, it burns no matter what stage of the cooking of the popcorn it’s added. If you try to add it to the finished but hot popcorn it doesn’t stick or glaze in anyway. I was going to return it but can’t find the time to get it to a drop off point that’s convenient so I’ve written £9.99 off.You get much better results with butter and a little oil heated with brown sugar till it makes a syrup and pouring that on. Please believe me on this don’t waste your money like muggins here.

Tried them ,not very nice at all ,the majority was husks.You expect a few in the bottom of your popcorn maker but not as many as these .Most pieces we ate ,we had to empty husk out of our mouths.
