Victorinox 5200312 Cooks/Chefs Knife 12 cm

Great knife. It is sharp. Ease of holding. Lightweight. Average price.

I have only recently purchased this knife and so far it has exceeded my expectation when it comes to handling.I can't say it's particularly aesthetically pleasing to look at, it's in fact quite unassuming but it certainly more than makes up for it when in use. Personally speaking I love the reassuring feel of the knife's 'Fibrox' handle and the blade sharpness is superb.I know some people are not impressed by the handle material but from what I can gather, Victorinox knives are used extensively throughout the butchering and catering industries and if the handles and knives themselves are good enough to be accepted for and used in commercial settings then they're certainly good enough for me.From my experience so far, it handles extremely well and apart from the obvious sharpness of the blade , it felt so comfortable to use that I could have been forgiven for thinking that I'd had it for years.Currently I'm replacing my kitchen knife collection with a selection of Victorinox knives but after ordering it, doubt crept in and I wasn't sure if the 12cm blade of this knife was long enough to be practical but I need not have worried, it's a really useful general purpose knife which I think will be my go-to knife when it comes to prepping salad, cutting up potatoes and even carving a bit of cooked meat.It's a very useful and practical sized knife that is frill-free but cuts and handles like a professional knife which it should do and which I have no hesitation of recommending.

A bit lightweight for a chef think, but pretty good for home v.sharp.

Been using a few months and still holding it's edge. Not sure how long that will last but good at the moment.Grippy easy to use/non slip handle (I have large hands)A quality product but the handle while easy to use looks a bit cheap, so a knife to use rather than show off.

I do like this knife even though thie blade and handle are wider than I thought they'd be. It's sharp and comes as one of the recommended ones from Which? magazine which is why I bought it.

decent knife, can cut through stuff

Throw out all your other knives. This is the only one you need. Sharp out of the box and very easy to keep edge razor sharp with a steel. I use this knife for everything in the kitchen and i also use it in the woods for cleaning and processing deer. Its shape and handle are just right, blade does delicate tasks and can stand up to not so delicate tasks. My go to knife.

Victorinox fait des couteaux de grandes qualités, celui ci ne déroge pas à leur réputation.Couteau de taille idéal pour moi, pour être emmener lors de weekend ou des vacances.Prise en main très agréable avec un manche revêtu d un grip qui permet de ne pas glisser en main.Lame inox, avec tranchant redoutable... attention aux doigts !! Inutile de l affûter ça coupe !!! Très très satisfait de cet achat 👍
