I tend to judge razors by the number of shaves I can get before they give me a nick or two. I have stiff whiskers, so they don't last as long for me as others. This Wilkinson Sword Hydro is a great shave indeed, but I get about 6-8 shaves before the nicks appear, versus 9-11 for the Gillette Fusion. But since the price is a bit better, I'd say economically I'd spend the same in a year either way.But one thing that is nice about the sword hydro - when they say it releases gel, they aren't kidding! The gel packs on this thing makes you think a jelly fish had an affair on your face! Gillette can't do that!
