I ordered this VEXUNGA 1P 40A 24V AC contactor for an old AC unit at my stepdad’s house instead of paying a technician to repair it. The unit wasn’t turning on, and after testing everything else in the house, I noticed the original contactor outside was discolored. I replaced it with this part, and the AC immediately started working. It’s been reliable — the same part lasted about 1.5–2 years under heavy use, running 24/7 during hot weather. If you know this is the part your unit needs, I highly recommend ordering it and installing it yourself. It works exactly as intended and saved me a service call.

I replaced an old contactor on my AC condenser unit with this one. This thing fit perfectly on my old Amana AC Condenser, and it worked really well. The contactor operation is nice and quiet. I did have to crimp ends on some wires that the old contactor had lugs on it for, but I think that was a 'custom job' by the original installer.

Easy to install and AC worked.

Money is tight and our ac unit stopped working.... So I decided to try to fix it myself. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on what might be wrong. I bought a voltage meter that one of the videos recommended and after testing a few different things, I found that our contactor was bad. I found this one to replace the current one. Delivered over night and today I put it in! I really like that there's a cover on this one so bugs can't get by the magnet plunger. I am still so proud of myself for saving our family so much money and not getting electrocuted lol. As soon as I got it installed (which took such little time) and turned the breaker back on.... It immediately worked and the fan spinning was a sound I missed. I squeeled! Great product and worked like a charm!

Item arrived in time and was the perfect FIT! all connections were like the original, and that includes screw-on connections for the 4 main 240V wires (2 in and 2 out). The original TRANE part was C147094P02. Installation was easy for those reasons. extra bonus is the covered single pole contactor, which will prevent "wildlife" and dust/dirt to get to the actual contacts.

Not constructed well, the terminals weren't secured properly and they came off.
