It’s a lovely fragrance

Beautiful bottle but the smell of the perfume nothing close to cashmere mist or donna karen white i was looking for something light

I ordered this perfume for two reasons: an education and as a surprise gift to a friend. I say education because, I must admit, I wanted not just to know what to expect, but how to appreciate a high-end perfume. The packaging is amazing! Inside of the large cylindrical cardboard container, and secured in foam, the bottle is large and heavy, due in part because of the thick glass used and a magnetic metal lid. It's a stunning presentation, at least in my opinion. Once I took some photos for my review, I gave myself a sample spray. I'm not a perfume connoisseur by any means, but my common olfactory senses were drawn to the pleasant aroma. I then shared samples with some of the friendly neighbors in my apartment building, mostly women of different ages, to get 100% honest impressions. "Strong", "citrusy", and "really nice", were among the comments, and the consensus was positive. One woman was also familiar with the "Donna Karan" brand and unsurprised by the high quality. My takeaway is that, like so many other products, you get what you pay for with this Donna Karan Cashmere Mist perfume spray, both in terms of packaging/presentation, and a high-quality scent. I think that this product will make a fantastic gift for a special person in your life.

Out of 3 fragrances that i ordered from this line, this one is my least favorite. This fragrance opens with a burst of citrus which comes across a little bitter to my nose. I am a gourmand person so this should probably be why i am not a fan of this fragrance. After the initial burst of citrus dissipates, neroli takes over mixed with a bit of lavender and the smell profile stays about the same till its dry down. This fragrance does smell clean. The first time i smelled this bottle before spraying it reminded me of laundry detergent and i still get this laundry detergent vibe at the dry down of this fragrance. I don’t really like this scent profile but if you like clean, soapy fragrances you might like this one. There is nothing sharp or pungent about this fragrance, it is just clean, soft and soapy to my nose. The longevity is pretty good. I get about 6 hours on my skin and it lasts much longer on my clothes. The quality definitely feels premium. Although this is not my type of fragrance, i do see how someone will like this one if you are into clean, soft, soapy fragrances. This in my opinion is not a safe blind buy.

I used to wear Donna Karan Cashmere Mist years ago, and was thrilled to try the Cashmere Collection Tunisian Neroli. It's packaged just as you'd expect from such a lux fragrance, in a very pretty outside case. The bottle itself is beautiful heavy glass, with a gold lid that includes a magnet to click it firmly back on after each spray. It has such a lovely rich citrus/orange fragrance, that dries down with some of the heart and base scents blending back in with Bergamot, Neroli and Cedarwood. I liked it a lot. I found it complex enough that it had some staying power, but not heavy. I've tried many fragrances over the last few years, and so many are just SO heavy, which rarely seems to work for me. This one feels good! Everything about this says, "Lovely!" The price as it is now here is actually a very good deal ($92.34) because I did a search for this and it must be new, because I can only locate it on the Donna Karan website - for $150! Holy Cats. Someone will love this for Christmas! If they like orange, bergamot, neroli and cedarwood = wonderful!

I am not to impressed with this new scent. Even when the notes dry down, the scent did not last. Way too expensive.

This was a scent I've been looking forward to. Upon receiving, I was immediately pleased with the packaging. It came nestled securely in a Donna Karan cylindrical box, and wrapped in plastic. The cap itself is magnetically attached to the bottle and provides a satisfying pull and click when uncapping and capping, respectively. For what it's worth, DK doesn't release icky smelling scents so I wasn't worried about what I would uncover. What I found from the first spray an immediate reminder of CK One. Not kidding. Now, I haven't smelled CK One in... oh, I don't know... 25 years? 30 maybe? So I'm thinking my scent recall might be glitching. It's been 10 minutes since I sprayed the perfume and I don't have that smell memory happening anymore. Now, I'm getting the scents of jasmine soap and just... cleanliness. Youthfulness, softness. It's a sweet caress of a scent, not sexy or in your face. I won't wear this when I'm in va va va voom mode with my hubs but it will be a good road trip scent or trip to the store spritz.

Don’t be fooled by a pretty package that’s all I can say. Perfume is was one of those things that you take a chance on if you don’t have the opportunity to smell it. I can say that this sent probably appeals to less than most. If you’re into decorative perfume bottles, then this is the right choice for you.
